Dezze's phone suddenly lit up with a red alert, and a warning message flashed on her screen. She swiftly checked the location, tracking Jesse's GPS signal. But instead of relief, a wave of concern washed over her. Who could have triggered this alert? Only Jesse knew about the watch then who would be? is Jesse herself? Or Andi? Or someone else?
Dezze's mind raced with questions. Was Jesse okay? Had something terrible happened to her? The uncertainty gnawed at her. Normally, receiving a signal would bring reassurance, but now it filled her with dread.
Acting swiftly, Dezze alerted police and assembled a search party. Within minutes, police team out in the direction of Jesse's location, driven by a sense of urgency.
It took about 5 hours to reach there . Even though the location was in the countryside, every house was built more like a city area than a countryside. seeing lights at every corner of the road, malls, restaurants, and other shops.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow, darkness began to descend. However, guided by the car's headlights, Dezze alone pulled up in front of a building, its silhouette illuminated by the beams. By then the police had caught Andi and he was being dragged out of the building.
He had a head injury and his hands were covered in blood. His twisted grin sent a shiver down Dezze's spine. Suddenly her heartbeat could be heard. She was able to see all this inside the black car she had recently bought. She tried to breathe properly by holding her left side chest but she can't unable to do so. Her eyes were straight at Andi, the desire to kill him was clearly visible in her eyes.
Brazenly, he sits inside the car with the police. He had handcuffs on his hands but not on his smile. There was no sign of remorse or fear in his body language or eyes.
Can human cruelty know no bounds? Is it possible for someone to relentlessly pursue harm without ever growing weary? The constant struggle to protect oneself, the perpetual looking over one's shoulder – doesn't it exhaust the soul? And what of the perpetrator? Do they never tire of their malicious games?
Overcome with emotion, Dezze couldn't contain herself and burst out of the car. However, just as she stepped out, the police car's engine roared to life, and it began to pull away slowly from the scene.
Some police team members remained at the accident site, scanning the area with heightened vigilance. Dezze stood at a distance, with a sense of fear and unease. As she waited, snippets of conversation from passing women drifted towards her on the breeze.
1st women - I don't know what is happening inside the building? Suddenly the police came.
2nd women - I don't know, when I was coming back home from office, I saw a girl coming out from here.
3rd women - From where? From this building? (pointing to the building at the accident site).
2nd women - yes, The girl seemed frightened.
That means Jesse would not have gone too far, that means the ' A girl' must be Jesse, that means Dezze can find her. With this thought in mind, she sits inside the car again and starts driving forward with a U-turn. She starts looking carefully at every mall, building, shop passing by on the way.
Although Dezze is heading this case completely, she still does not want to wait for tomorrow. She does not want to waste her time for tomorrow, she wants to find Jesse today itself.
Sumi, who is Jesse's manager, suddenly gets a call in the middle of the night. She was sleeping with her legs spread out, opens her eyes slightly but there is a murmuring sound inside from her mouth.
"Why am I so incompetent and foolish?" Sumi lamented. "Why didn't I keep it silent?"
As Jesse's manager, Sumi's workload was already overwhelming But since Jesse's disappearance, her burden had intensified, with the added responsibility of handling cases for five judges.
"I didn't want to answer the call," Sumi thought, "but I had no choice."
"Hello."
"It's me, Jesse.(Sumi's eyes open widely.)
"Ms.jesse where are you? Are you okay? Where are you? I am going to pick you up right there. Give me the location first."
Jesse's first call was to Sumi, a testament to the depth of trust between them. Sumi sprang into action, snatching her car keys from the table while still in her night pajamas. She hastily locked her room door behind her with a resounding bang.
However, the tremble in Jesse's voice brought Sumi to an abrupt halt. She froze, her attention shifting to listen intently.
"Don't bring anyone with you and don't inform anyone, you have to do it till you drop me at my house. Don't call from this mobile but come straight to the location I am sending."
"Okay." Sumi pauses for some time with the whole obedient but as soon as the location is sent she doesn't take even a second to drive straight to that direction with her car.
