As we stepped into the massive dining hall, I couldn't help but gasp in awe with my arm still linked around Arthur's. I, first of all, acknowledged the greetings of the many officials lined up by the table that seemed to be able to contain at least 60 people, but it was clearly a lot more than from the looks of it.
Thank goodness I agreed to get dressed up for this, unless I would have been made a mockery of and regretted it every day of my life afterwards. Everyone seemed to be in their best attire, adorned with precious jewels as well for a simple get-together.
I noticed Gamma Farlo at the edge, close to the two chairs that were placed at the end of the table before everyone, in crutches and with a scornful look on his face till I noticed it, and he adjusted to his head being bowed down instantly.
