"Come."
Corina was startled awake by the voice from her dreams. She looked around and sighed when she noticed she was still residing in Elurra Castle. It was her hope; she would wake up and everything would be back to normal, but that hope would never manifest.
"They're all asleep. Follow the trail."
Corina felt confused. "Who is talking to me? Is this a hallucination?"
"No. Watch the air in front of you."
Corina jumped up out of bed when she saw a trail of sparkling, blue light manifest before her. She reached out to touch it, but like all light, her finger went straight through it.
"This is weird," she muttered to herself.
"Follow it!" The voice demanded.
"My brain is being crazy."
"It's not your brain talking. I'm talking!" A male voice spoke to her. "Just do as I say already! I want out of this place, too!"
Corina shook her head. "Who are you?"
"Me."
"Okay," Corina rolled her eyes.
