The time ratio of one to thirty allowed Wang Yan to handle many things calmly, at least without giving anyone the impression that he had suddenly disappeared.

After adding a password to his phone to prevent another incident like the one with Zhan Shaofeng, Wang Yan dialed his younger sister Wang Lin.

Wang Yan and Wang Lin were four years apart.

Wang Lin was only 21 years old, a nursing student at the University of Medical Sciences, currently in her senior year and interning at the university's affiliated hospital. She had less than a year before graduation.

The phone was answered almost instantly.

Wang Lin's sharp voice cut through the line, her tone accusatory: "Brother, what have you been doing? Why hasn't your phone been reachable?"

"I was working, and my phone had to be off," Wang Yan replied, his mood brightening at the sound of her voice. He smiled fondly, "I called you back as soon as I got off work."

"What kind of job did you switch to?" Wang Lin pressed.

"Infrastructure work. It pays well. Linlin, just focus on your studies and don't worry about your brother's business." After the last incident, Wang Yan didn't dare mention anything about education again. Instead, he gave a vague but plausible answer. After all, his world was still in its early stages, and what he said wasn't exactly a lie.

There was a moment of silence before Wang Lin's voice came back, now tinged with emotion. "Brother, have you really ended up moving bricks at a construction site?"

Moving bricks?

Your imagination sure runs wild!

Wang Yan rubbed the tip of his nose, feeling a bit exasperated. He didn't bother to correct her—moving bricks, fine! After all, he was doing foundational work for his primitive tribes, which could be considered a kind of "brick-laying."

Wang Yan quickly changed the subject. "By the way, Linlin, what did you need to talk to me about? Are you short on money?"

"Do you think I only call you when I need money?" Wang Lin complained, her voice tinged with annoyance. Then, more earnestly, she added, "Brother, I know you've been under a lot of pressure lately, but working at a construction site isn't right for you. You should quit and go back to your job at the ad agency."

She paused for a moment before continuing with a hint of excitement, "Besides, I've got some good news—I've managed to get Mom and Dad off your back about marriage!"

Wang Yan's curiosity was piqued. He smiled and asked, "How did you manage that?"

"There's a senior at the hospital where I'm interning. She's about your age, a clinical medicine PhD. She's never been in a relationship! Her family's been pressuring her to get married, and she's been going on blind dates like crazy, driving herself nuts. So she's looking for a fake boyfriend to use as a shield, and I thought of you! You two are both in the same boat, so you might as well team up and help each other out!" Wang Lin's voice was filled with glee as she revealed her plan.

"No thanks." Wang Yan refused immediately. His time was valuable, and he had no interest in playing fake boyfriend games with a medical doctor.

"Don't say no, Brother! Even if you don't care about yourself, think about me!" Wang Lin suddenly sounded desperate. "Mom and Dad are so determined to get you married that they're ready to trade me off for a daughter-in-law! I'm still in school, and I haven't even graduated yet. If word gets out that I'm being bartered for a marriage, I'll be too embarrassed to face anyone!"

"Linlin, don't worry. I'll take care of it, and soon. Just give me a little time, okay?" Wang Yan reassured her with a smile.

"How fast can it be? Are you going to move bricks until you've earned enough to buy a house?" Wang Lin's tone was laced with sarcasm, but then she softened. "Brother, please, just buy me a year so I can graduate without any trouble. Please?"

Wang Yan sighed. He already had a house, a car, and savings. What he lacked was a legitimate reason to display these assets openly. He just needed a suitable identity to back up his wealth, and everything would fall into place.

The problem was finding that identity.

Starting a company—it's essential to get it up and running as soon as possible!

Wang Yan made a decision on the spot. Even if it was just to launder money, he needed to establish a company quickly. That would put his family's minds at ease and allow him to improve their quality of life.

With a little more time, once his world was fully developed and no longer dependent on Earth, he could bring his entire family over to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

"Brother, my senior is really pretty. She's beautiful and makes a good living. If you put in a bit of effort, you might end up with something real out of this!" Wang Lin continued to entice him, her tone suggesting that he'd be making a great deal.

I'm a planetary lord with a grand future ahead of me—I don't need to play house with a female doctor!

Wang Yan was firm in his refusal. "Linlin, give me ten days. In ten days, I'll have everything sorted out, and I'll give you an answer that you'll be happy with."

"No, not even one day!" Wang Lin's voice was sharp with frustration. "I don't care what you've got going on. I've already set up the meeting for tomorrow. Whatever you're doing, cancel it. Don't be late, don't miss it, or we're done!"

Wang Yan sighed.

"The meeting is at 10:30 tomorrow morning, at Yipin Cafe outside the affiliated hospital. You'd better clean up before you go—I don't want to see you show up looking like a slob. That's it, I'm hanging up!"

Wang Lin hung up before Wang Yan could say another word.

As the dial tone buzzed in his ear, Wang Yan shook his head and sighed. Fine, I'll go. With the one-to-thirty time ratio, it won't take up much of my day. I can handle family obligations and still live like a normal person on Earth without raising suspicions.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

Two new WeChat notifications popped up.

Wang Yan opened them. One was a reminder from Wang Lin about the time and place of tomorrow's meeting. The other was a photo—a picture of a beautiful woman in a white coat, her features delicate and well-proportioned, her skin fair and radiant, her figure tall and graceful. She was intently studying a patient's medical records.

She was a solid ninety out of a hundred in terms of looks.

It was hard to believe a woman this attractive needed to go on blind dates to find someone.

But after a moment, Wang Yan understood. Doctor!

Just the word is enough to explain a lot.

The thought of dealing with a doctor made Wang Yan shiver. He tossed his phone aside. It was just a mutual arrangement of convenience; there was no need to waste too much energy on it. He had a world to build.

What can women do for fun in the primitive world?

From now until tomorrow's meeting, he had about twelve hours—equivalent to ten days in his world. Plenty of time to accomplish a lot!

The one-to-thirty time ratio had opened up endless possibilities for Wang Yan's life!

Talent!

He needed talent from all walks of life.

Preferably, those who could disappear for a while without drawing attention.

Single!

Few relatives!

Limited social circle!

Wang Yan brainstormed like a criminal planning a heist, carefully considering every step as he narrowed down his potential targets.
