The moment we discovered I was pregnant, Moor and I were extremely happy. After putting in the effort for some time, it was truly amazing to finally witness the appearance of those two pink lines on the pregnancy test.
Initially, all appeared as expected. I was slightly fatigued, slightly queasy, but nothing unusual. Moor was incredible, looking after me and ensuring my well-being and satisfaction.
However, as time passed, the situation began to escalate slightly. My morning nausea progressed to persistent nausea throughout the day, leaving me constantly tired. Moor would return from hunting and discover me huddled on the couch, immobile.
Even with the obstacles, we were both very enthusiastic about meeting our little one. We went through all the books, took parenting classes, and set up the nursery. We even selected a name - River, inspired by the river that flowed through our pack's land.
