I gazed up at him, with a plea in my eyes. "Ryker, I pleaded with you." Refuse to return me. Do not inform Horus about this.
Ryker's face relaxed a bit, and he gazed at me with a touch of interest. He inquired, "What's stopping me?"
I took a deep breath, trying to find the right words to convey. "I am willing to do anything," I stated, my voice shaking, as I am willing to do anything. I am prepared to do whatever it takes as long as you assure me that this information will be kept private. I implore you, Ryker. Display compassion.
Ryker looked at me without speaking, then nodded. "Sure," he said. I will not tell Horus, it will be confidential. "However, you must give me your word."
