"Is there a problem Sevastian?" Lyra managed to ask, she was certain her face would be flaming hot at this point.
"Not at all," Sevastian looked away from her, staring straight in front of him. His eyes appeared distant like he was thinking about something.
"Alright. I will return to my chamber, thank you for the walk." Lyra smiled at him.
"You are welcome, Princess. It was...indeed fun," Sevastian replied, his tone calm yet slightly strained. From the corner of his eye, he saw her nod in agreement before gracefully walking away, the sweet scent of lavender lingering in her wake.
Sevastian exhaled deeply, closing his eyes briefly. Could he truly maintain his composure around the princess? Doubt gnawed at him. Letting out another weary sigh, he turned and made his way back to the palace, heading straight to his room, where solitude awaited him.
