Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Gentleman

Anna had just returned from running an "errand" and went to take a shower. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she saw the bruises and bumps on her body, frowned and took a deep breath.

Narco baron's love perverted fun. Many things they do would have to be mosaicked in the United States. Not even Kennedy's brains were honored with such censorship.

In places like Latin America, the only way up for women is "through bed".

Do you think there are many like Blanca, known as the "Black Widow" of Colombia? In the male-dominated world of crime, she is the only woman the narco baron's respectfully call "Godmother" by the narco baron's.

The story alone of how she killed three of her husbands with her own hand is terrifying. Many women wouldn't dream of such a thing.

If you're not violent, how can you stay afloat?

In countries like Mexico and India, why isn't there feminism? Because they actually beat women.

Most of the beautiful women, like Anna, are kept by narco baron's, turning them into their toys. The unbeautiful ones are waiting for the streets, where they earn 20 pesos at a time.

In such a dangerous society, women, like money, are just objects to be exchanged.

Ana had just finished washing herself when suddenly she saw the head of a prison guard in the doorway.

- What are you looking at? - She thought it was another pervert, wrapped herself in a towel and, leaning against the wall, grabbed a cigarette from the nightstand. Deftly lighting it, she said: - Do you want to watch? Pay up.

- You get a call at the front desk. - The guard, looking greedily at her legs, swallowed, but he knew that this woman was beyond his means, and beyond his pocket. His monthly salary wouldn't even cover one look.

Anna took a drag and, pulling her towel higher, pushed the guard away. She was a realist: you have no money, why would I talk to you?

Reaching the duty room, she picked up the landline phone and sat down in a chair with her feet on the table. The guard who came in after her couldn't take his eyes off her.

- Who is it!!!

Suddenly Anna abruptly sat up straight, frowning.

- 'You don't need to know who I am. If you don't want your brother to die, come to the warehouse behind the prison. And don't you dare call for help... - The voice in the phone was clearly altered. When he finished, the person he was talking to simply hung up.

Anna turned pale, forcefully lowering the receiver to the machine.

- Do you need help? - The guard leaned over, daring to ask.

But she ignored him, dialed the number and, hearing the answer, said anxiously: - My brother has been kidnapped.

Not to call for help? Do you take me for a fool?

To not call for help is to go in for the kill.

Anna has been in this world a long time and has seen a lot. If there's support, it's foolish not to use it. Then why join a gang? What if it costs her brother's life?

The important thing is to survive on her own first.

...

Bang!

A storm was brewing outside. Victor stood outside the warehouse, calmly smoking a cigarette. Lightning flashed in the distance, illuminating his grim face.

- They're here! - said Casares, opening his umbrella and rushing toward him.

Best, stepping out of the car, dragged the man out of the back seat and dragged him into the warehouse.

- Boss. - Best pointed at Duke. - This is my best friend, I brought him to help.

Apparently he explained everything on the way, as Duke nervously said hello to Victor.

- We're all our own, no need for formalities," Victor grinned, shaking his face. He looked at the man with his hands bound and a sock-like gag in his mouth. - Put him in the box.

Duke nodded, picked up the prisoner and shoved him into a large wooden box. Pointing a finger at his mouth, he whispered: - Be quiet or we'll send you to Africa as a sex slave.

Closing the box, the captive was met with absolute despair.

Duke, shaking off his hands, walked out after hearing Victor's words: -I said everything on the phone. Someone wants to kill me by cutting off our income. I am a fair man: whoever wants to kill me, I will kill him!

With these words he opened a suitcase standing in the corner.

- Open it.

Duke quickly unzipped it, and inside were four Uzi submachine guns with dozens of full magazines. Each holds about 20 rounds, totaling over 200 rounds.

- Someone doesn't want us to live in peace. - Victor threw his cigarette on the ground, put it out with his foot and spread his hands. - What do you think we should do?

- Kill them. - Answered Best.

- They want us dead, and I want their whole family dead. Take one at a time, if not a woman comes in, shoot.

Victor took one Uzi and pulled the bolt. - This case is all about violence. Even if Jesus came in, I'd put a couple bullets in his head.

Best and the others stuffed their pockets with magazines and lurked at four points.

Ten minutes later, two Chevrolets pulled up. They didn't even try to hide their presence, clearly used to the brazen behavior.

Six or seven men got out of the cars.

- Wait here, I'll see who dared to touch our men from Juarez. - The leader, a big man in green camouflage, addressed Anman in the car.

- 'Anman, be careful.

The man drew his pistol, and his underlings followed suit. All had Astra 357s, police revolvers made by a Spanish company specifically for Mexican law enforcement. But, ironically, the drug traffickers got them first.

Anman and his men entered the warehouse. Seeing the darkness, he frowned, sensing something wrong, and only wanted to warn: - Wait...

But Victor had already risen from his Uzi and opened fire. That was the signal for Duke and the others to attack from the flanks.

People fell like cut grass.

Three men fired 80 bullets, killing six. You think this is a movie?

Anna in the car turned pale when she heard the gunfire. She tried to move into the driver's seat, but she didn't know how to drive. Learning cost money, and she didn't want to spend what she earned.

As a result, the car spun in place like a yule log.

Duke, running out with an Uzi, thought they were trying to escape and fired a line at the car, shattering the rear window. Anna screamed in terror, covering her head.

Fear paralyzes most women.

Best got out, signaled Duke, and they slowly surrounded the car. One was a policeman, the other was in the army-they had combat skills.

Seeing a trembling Anna, Best opened the door and pulled her out of the car by her hair.

She screamed and struggled, but it didn't make them feel any pity.

When his entire family died and he ended up in the slums, Best realized that Mexico was devouring people.

He hadn't fought back before out of fear for his life, but now that he was in the role of aggressor, why would he feel sorry for anyone?

Throwing Anna to the ground, he heard her quiet crying.

- Hey guy, you have to be a gentleman with women, the deed must be done fairly.

Anna heard a familiar voice, raised her head, and her tears of fear disappeared.

- Victor!

- Good evening, Anna. I'm sorry to meet you like this, but I want to know who put the bomb in my office.

- I don't know! It wasn't me! Please let me go, Victor! - Anna tried to hug Victor's legs, but Best grabbed her by the hair again and pulled her back.

Victor wasn't surprised by her response. There was no getting the truth without the use of force. He smiled, ate a piece of chocolate, and rubbed his nose with his index finger.

- You're putting me in a difficult position!

He barely finished speaking as he kicked Anna sharply in the face, pinning her head firmly to the ground.

- Bitch, you're offered a chance and you don't take it. Bring her brother.

Casares agreed and ran back into the warehouse, bringing her brother out.

When her brother saw Anna, his eyes filled with hope and he started mooing as hard as he could.

- Your brother is at that age and already dealing drugs!

- Being a drug dealer is a hopeless occupation! Let him feel the pain," Victor ordered.

Best took a fire axe from the trunk, which he had "found" on the street, and stepped on Anna's brother's arm, raised the axe and brought it down sharply.

- Mmnuuu!!!

A cry of pain mingled with sobs. When Best let go of his arm, the boy was squirming on the ground in pain.

Victor crouched down, grabbing Anna roughly by the hair.

- My patience is wearing thin. Tell me who it was!

Anna cried, shaking her head, but Victor only smiled. He hadn't met such stubborn people in a long time.

- Two more fingers! - he ordered.

- No... - Anna screamed, but Best grinned and brought the axe down again, chopping off two more fingers. One of them fell right in front of Anna, and she grabbed it like a madwoman and started crying to her heart's content.

- Four fingers already. Six to go, but I'm not sure the next time won't be on his head. - Victor spoke more and more grimly.

Finally, Anna's psyche couldn't take it.

She cried in such a heart wrenching way.

But in this world one had to understand what it meant to die.

- It's Stefan Blancard! You hit him and he wants you dead, blowing you up is his revenge!
