Disgustingly familiar footsteps were heard by the two hundred some servants of the estate. A portion of the servants already seemed like they were used to this situation, although some were confused, the senior servants did their best to explain the situation without setting off an alarm.
"I thank everybody for complying to my request on such short notice," Violet walked in the middle of the parted group of servants. "I heard that my parents hired new people, so firstly, welcome."
Violet stopped in front of the crowd. None wanted to speak or make any sort of noise, even the head maid and the head butler all had their mouths closed.
"Secondly, since my parents are gone for an entire month, I will take over every single matter of the estate."
