As it was gossiped, the mayor's son is the crazy type, and a playboy who's after everything in a skirt. So people, Bethel only called him a crack to escape the marriage. She hadn't even seen him; only a few of the mayor's friends knew him well enough since he traveled out to study when he turned fifteen.
