Eons ago, there was a deity of the stars. This deity was a mysterious being. She never showed her face, always keeping it hidden by a black cloak and silver mask. Her powers were unknown, and she was both loved and feared by many, as she was seen as a symbol of rebellion.
She was known for granting wishes and granting divine insight to those who sought her out. She was a symbol of hope for those who felt powerless and was seen as a beacon of light in the darkest of times.
The deity had no people to call her own, a choice that surprised many, and angered the other deities. Even so, many mortals who worshiped the star deity, would hold festivals in her honor, and grow beautiful star shaped flowers called the Pentas lanceolata.
The Pentas lanceolata were a symbol of the deity's beauty and grace, and were said to bring good luck to those who wore them. The deity was content with having her own followers and was not concerned with the approval of other deities.
Despite this, there was one person who was more devoted to the star deities than anyone. He was a self-proclaimed servant of the deity.
No matter the realm the deity was in, the mortal would follow. Whatever the deity told the mortal to do, he did without hesitation.
He was loyal to a fault and would do anything in his power to please his deity. His devotion was so strong that it was said to never waver.
His unwavering devotion was an inspiration to others who also worshiped the star deity. He became a symbol of faith and was respected by all who encountered him.
This mortal was a wolf shifter, who was kicked out of his pack for disrespecting the moon deity, and for his chaotic nature.
Of course, the wolf shifter, who has always admired and worshiped her, sought after the star deity, constantly pestering her to let him serve her, and learn her ways.
The star deity, who was bored and tired of the wolfshifter's pestering, granted his wish, but on one condition. . . The wolf shifter had to steal and drink the wine of immortality, so he could forever serve the star deity. . .
The wine of immortality was a sacred drink, one that was protected by the deity of sorrow, otherwise known as God, who created the wine from water.
Needless to say, God was angered once he found out the star deity had stolen from him, and even made an attempt to take the deity's life, but was quickly thwarted by the wolf shifter.
Years after this, the star deity vanished from both the mortal and heavenly realms. Many searched for the deity, but no one could find her, and so, everyone forgot about her, and her place in history was erased, making her into a fairy-tale for gullible children.
Yet, the wolf shifter, who loved the star deity with all his heart, never gave up, searching for centuries for his rebellious master, until finally, something deep inside his soul, told him to search for a distant kingdom, one centered in the middle of the mortal realm. . .
The kingdom of Krystal. . .
