"I'm going to kill him," I growled as I entered the locker room, kicking one of the seats far away from me, anger boiling in my veins, jealousy poisoning my soul, making me bitterly dangerous. "I swear to fucking God, I'm going to reap his spine out of his body," I kicked one of the lockers hard enough to break it.
"Calm down, Tris," Killian hushed inside the locker room after me, exasperated, followed by Yohan and Pietro. "She's probably doing that to provoke you, she,"
"Mate, I don't think she was trying to provoke anyone, she looked into that kiss," Pietro groaned. "She was dominating him, just like that, she made Sasaki look like her baby girl, and,"
Yohan smacked the back of his head, "Mate, read the bloody room," he snapped. "She's gotta be provoking you by this, Tris. Sasaki is gay, I'm one hundred percent sure of it."
"It doesn't makes me want to murder him less," I hissed, feeling blind. "He kissed her. He touched her. He was acting like she's his. I will kill him for that, and then I'll,"
"You are not going to kill anyone," Kill groaned exasperated. "Not right now, yeah? You already killed that unsaid bastard, and we are still in the dust for that. Let's not kill Sasaki, we don't even know why they were like that. Maybe they did that because Russo was coming closer."
"It. Doesn't. Matter," I clenched my jaw, my fist punching the locker next to me, the metal of it contorting as I felt my knuckles hurting. "He touched her, she's mine. Anyone who touches Aella, deserves to die, no one can touch what's mine."
"Because that's not toxic at all," Killian mocked and I glared at him. "I get it, mate, you feel possessive over her, because you say you want to be the only one to punish her, and whatever. But you can't kill him. Sasaki's family has ties with the Yakuza, that may be rarely known, but we know that, and it's better to keep those at arm length instead of messing with them."
"Besides, he and Aella are friends," Yohan said. "Maybe she's doing that to help,"
"Help? Aella? Helping somebody else other than herself and the twins?" I mocked bitterly. "I find that bloody hard to fucking believe. And it doesn't change the facts that he touched her."
"Mate, you can't kill everyone who touches her," Pietro gasped. "That's not nice, Tris."
I glared at him again, "Yes, I can. I've done six times, I don't mind doing it again," five, since I didn't kill Christian, but they don't know it was Aella, and I'll take that to my grave, I don't mind taking the blame for it, even if it forsaken my life. "I will not tolerate anyone to touch what belongs to me," I punched the locked again, needing to get rid of the destructive chaos boiling inside of me. "Aella is untouchable, that's my law, she is mine, and I won't let anyone cross me, even if the person is gay. That gives him even less right to touch her."
"Yes, but you can't fucking kill him, Tristan," Killian gasped exasperated. "Because messing with the Yakuza won't solely befall you, but your entire family, both aunt Juliette, uncle Damien, and the twins. Not even Aella would be safe with Sasaki dead."
The idea of putting my loved ones in that kind of danger made me halt, "She kissed him," I felt my insides going ravenous, "what am I supposed to do? What if she keeps insisting in being near that Japanese piece of shit like that? You can't ask me to stay fucking still, because I won't be able to. I might break him with my fists if I see him with her like that again in front of me," I groaned, anger trying to cloud my senses. "How am I supposed to control myself?"
They shared a conflicted gaze, but before they could say anything, Keira and Izzy ran inside, huffing and clearly stressed with something, shaken even, which doesn't happens normally at all. And when it came to me that they had stayed back there where Aella was, a bad feeling began to crawl inside of me.
"What happened?" I asked, fists clenched.
They shared a look and back to me, "Gemma snapped at Aella," Keira said.
"Snapped?" I hissed. "How?"
"Did she stop faking it liking her?" Killian mocked. "Did Aella deny her a lipstick or something?" That's what Keira did, ages ago, and Gemma still holds that onto her, like the petty spoiled brat that she is.
"Not a lipstick," Keira scoffed, side eying him, "Gemma asked her to take part on the swimming completion that the remaining Beaufort twins will take part in, because she's scared, saying that Aella was the only one that could do it, that her life, future, inheritance and whatever was on the line, but that it made her feel sick."
"Aella didn't just refused it," Izzy said, "she barked a no, she was aggressive. That turned Gemma honesty on, then she proceeded to humiliate Aella, throwing everything that Aella confided in her, at her, even calling her unlovable and saying that she was nothing. I know we're on this whole staying away from her thing, but, I think Gemma actually hurt her."
Keira nodded, "All because of this swimming competition, even Sasaki looked surprised with the way she refused it. She didn't snap back at Gemma aggressively tho, she did snap back but she was cold, then Gemma got pissed and slapped her face with her hands that she has rings on, and after wishing her a good swimming competition, Aella vanished out of there. I... I know we talked about this, but I felt like running after her, she looked really shaken."
My blood went cold as memories of how shaken up she looked when I put on the boat came into me again, and I fell down on the bench, all their eyes coming to me.
"Why do you also look shaken?" Yohan asked.
"I think something traumatic happened with Aella before she moved to England, while her dad was alive. Something involving deep water," I lowered my voice, staring at my hands, clenching and unclenching them. "I don't think anyone knows this, but when that happened, she was with me, and when it was time to go to the center of the lake to deal with that, she fought against me, but I still put her in the boat and..."
"And?" Keira asked anxiously.
"Aella shut down. She was awake but she was not there, she stared at the lake and began shaking, her hands gripping the sides of it until her knuckles turned white, she was terrified, shivering, then tears began rolling down her eyes, and I got thrown off guard. I took care of the rest of that and tried snapping her out of it, but she wasn't listening, then she began to breath as if she was drowning. I bought us back to land and held her in my arms and even then, she was still out of it, so much she fainted calling for help under her breath."
I passed both hands through my hair, "I had never seen her like that, not even after Christian tried to... do shit he shouldn't to her, and she was panicking then. But the fear I saw on her felt irrational, like a trauma deeply buried into her soul, something she never dealt with and now it grew worse than it should have, and," I swallowed, "I felt helpless. She was only back to her sense after I got us home, and even then, she wasn't okay, she was faking it."
