BRUNO'S POV
"Go to his apartment and find out what happened in Park City. The guards have told me that they are back "Mark James yelled over the phone and disconnected it.
I huffed as I drove to the new executive apartments to visit Eli Marks just after eight o'clock in the evening. I rang the bell, and he opened it, staring at me in shock. I walked into Eli's apartment, the door clicked shut behind me, and I took a few steps in before noticing someone else was there.
Sitting at the table across from Eli was a guy I hadn't met before. But then, when our eyes met, something shifted. There was an undeniable charge that crackled between us, catching me off guard. His face—sharp yet soft in all the right places, with these deep, expressive eyes that seemed to pierce right through me—made me stop in my tracks.
"Hey," I spoke up hurriedly and my eyes darted between the two of them "Didn't know you had company."
