Eligot turns to the voice just to see a young woman who looks no older than nineteen with a big longbow on her back "Where are you headed Eligot?" Asked the woman "oh, its you Amy, you know you cant be sneaking up on me like that" Says Eligot "oh cut the crap and just tell me where you are going." Says Amy visibly ticked off "I'm headed to the capital for a tournament I wouldn't suggest that you come along" says Eligot while clearly not paying attention to Amy "And why is that?" Amy says still ticked off "well first thing, you dont have an applicant waver second thing, i think you are too weak" says Eligot "TOO WEAK?!?!? I'll show you too weak" says Amy who is even madder now "Let's spar" Amy says trying to show her ability "ok, sure, but don't blame me when you get hurt" says Eligot non-chalantly "i'll show you" Amy whispers under her breath even more ticked off. They walk into a plain field as Eligot pulls out a white rapier with red runic writing on it "Oh look at that Eligot just pulled out his scaaary rapier im so scared" said Amy sarcastically as she is pulling the bow off her back "dont mess around cause this sword doesn't forgive" says Eligot with a serious expression "Oh Wow so scary... Anyway let's start this" Amy says as she quickly fires off an arrow "too slow" says thorn as he catches the arrow and he starts dashing towards Amy. As Eligot gets close she sends a kick in his direction but he dodges. Amy jumps back trying to create a gap between them but Eligot isn't letting up and keeps dashing toward her. Eligot succesfully closes the gap and sends a stab her way, but Amy uses the length of her bow to block his attack then quickly counters with a fast kick this time landing it. Eligot is taken aback by the fact that he took a hit yet loses no time as Amy opened a gap between them and already sent three arrows flying his way. Eligot blocks the first arrow, dodges the second one, and catches the third one, leaving Amy in shock giving him just enough time to reach her. Amy sees him going for a stab again so she puts her bow up to block, but it turns out to be a fake stab so Eligot kicks her leg ruining her footing making her fall. "Oww damn..." Says Amy "Hm i guess you are a bit stronger than i thought, you were able to land a hit on me this time" says Eligot "Ha Ha Yeah even you recognize that i've gotten stronger so now take me with you to the tournament." Says Amy demandingly "No can do" says Eligot "H-Huh but why i landed a hit on you" says Amy confusedly "Well as i said before the first reason because of which you can't participate is because you dont have the applicant waver" says Eligot "I don't believe that will be a problem" says the old man walking up to them with another waver "Oh it's you old man is that another applicant waver?" Asks Eligot "Yes i managed to find two more, i believe i heard that this young lady wants to join the tournament as well?" Asks the old man "Are you really going to give it to me???" Amy asks excitedly "yes of course" says the old man "YAAAY! WOOO! Thank you so much, I dont know how i could thank you" says Amy while she is jumping up in excitment "You can thank me by not dying and making it far in the tournament" says the Old Man with a warm smile "Why Of course i will, thank you so much sir!!!" Says Amy with genuine happiness in her voice "You should probably take your leave now it's a long way to the capital" said the old man "Yes we probably should" both Eligot and Amy agreed "Okay then good bye and Good Luck" said the old man waving his hand as Amy and Eligot left. They returned to the horse stable and took two horses and started their journey toward the capital.
