Chapter 19 - 19;THE TRUTH:1

Yang Feng felt the warmth of Miss Xu's embrace, her gentle hands still stroking his hair. The comforting rhythm of her touch and the softness of her voice made the world outside disappear, if only for a moment. Slowly, he came back to his senses, the storm of confusion in his mind settling into something more manageable. The sensations around him—the crackling of the fire, the softness of the chair, and the subtle fragrance of Miss Xu's clothes—grounded him, drawing him back to the present.

Miss Xu, noticing the change in his breathing and the relaxation of his body, paused her movements. She looked down at him with soft, concerned eyes. "Are you okay now?" she asked, her voice a soothing melody that cut through the silence of the room.

Yang Feng shifted slightly, lifting his head from her chest. He gave her a smile—a bright, cheerful smile that could fool anyone. "Yes, Miss Xu," he replied, his voice steady and calm. But inside, his mind was a whirlpool of thoughts. This warmth, this comfort, it was nothing more than a brief respite. The truth remained: he needed answers, and he needed them fast.

As much as he appreciated Miss Xu's kindness, Yang Feng was no longer a naive child. He was an immortal prince in disguise, a former powerhouse from the upper realms, and if he wanted to survive in this new world, he had to start by understanding it. He couldn't afford to let his guard down, not even for a moment. He would have to play his cards carefully, using Miss Xu's kindness to extract the information he desperately needed.

With a sudden shift in the air, Yang Feng adjusted his posture and fixed his gaze on her, his tone inquisitive but casual. "Miss Xu, what's happening?"

The shift from vulnerable to inquisitive was so subtle that Miss Xu barely noticed. She tilted her head slightly, her expression softening even further. She thought for a moment, considering how to explain things to him in a way that wouldn't overwhelm a child, at least in her mind.

"Well," she began, her voice taking on a more thoughtful tone, "in the spiritual world, which is divided into three, there are warriors known as spiritual masters. These warriors have special abilities—they command spiritual beasts, creatures of great power and significance." She paused to see if Yang Feng was following her, though she still believed he couldn't possibly understand the full gravity of what she was saying.

Yang Feng listened carefully, his mind working faster than ever. Spiritual masters? Spiritual beasts? He had heard of powerful creatures before, but never in this context. He kept his expression neutral, but the gears in his mind were turning. This was something entirely new.Spiritual world? Yang feng had never heard of an upper realm having just three domains nor had he heard about a spiritual world before.

Miss Xu continued, her voice gentle yet filled with an undercurrent of pride. "Spiritual masters aren't common, Yang Feng. They're revered for their strength, their connection to the world, and their ability to summon and control powerful beasts. But there are levels to them—just like how you have to grow stronger to be a good woodcutter, spiritual masters have to train and improve to command stronger beasts."

Yang Feng's eyes narrowed slightly as he listened. Levels? It reminded him of the Qi cultivation stages in his world, but this seemed to operate on a different system. "How do they rank them?" he asked, curiosity now overtaking him. He needed to know how this world worked—every bit of it.

Miss Xu smiled, pleased by his interest. "There are several rankings, but it's mostly based on how powerful the spiritual beast a person can summon is. There are Earth, Heaven, Moon, and Sun ranks. The more powerful the beast, the higher the rank of the master. The counselor from earlier was here to test the children and see if any of them have the potential to become spiritual masters."

Yang Feng nodded, his mind racing. So it wasn't just about cultivation—it was also about summoning these beasts. He filed this information away, already beginning to think of ways he could leverage it.To yang feng this had made no sense whatsoever,in this information there was no mention of the upper realms of domains. Then it dawned on him, domains."But what about domains.....uhhh...I mean the spiritual lands." he asked, pushing for more information.

Miss Xu blinked, somewhat surprised by the question, but she quickly continued, thinking that he was just a curious child. "Ah, yes. The spiritual world is divided into three great lands—the East, the West, and the North. Each one extends for miles and miles, separated by powerful portals. To travel between these spiritual lands, you need to find these portals, but they're guarded and not easy to access by us normal people."

Yang Feng's eyes widened in shock. "Portals?" he repeated under his breath. It was starting to make sense now. The portals acted like the boundaries between the spiritual lands. He was familiar with such methods in the upper realms, but it was never refered to as portals, instead they were known as*Wormholes*.Although there was a striking similarity, the two were quite different as **wormholes** were used to travel between realms and not lands.

Miss Xu, thinking he was just echoing her words in childlike wonder, continued. "Yes, portals. And in each of the three lands, there are many villages like ours, and each village hopes to have children who can become spiritual masters to protect them and raise their status."

But Yang Feng was already ahead, piecing things together. This wasn't the world he knew—this wasn't an upper realm, nor any domain he had ever heard of. This world was structured differently, with spiritual masters at the top instead of immortal cultivators. There was no mention of Qi, no mention of any cultivation realms he was familiar with.

He was in a new world entirely.

For the first time since his rebirth, the truth finally hit him with full force. This wasn't just a remote part of the upper realms. This wasn't a hidden domain or an afterlife. This was a completely different world—a spiritual world, governed by rules and systems he had never encountered before.

His heart raced as the reality of his situation settled in. He had no idea where he was. No idea how far this world stretched or how he could ever return to the realms he knew. For now, he was trapped, cut off from everything he had ever known.

Miss Xu, still thinking she was explaining things to a simple child, looked at Yang Feng with gentle eyes, assuming he wasn't grasping the full weight of what she was saying. She had paused, thinking that perhaps she had said too much, but Yang Feng wasn't done. He locked eyes with her, a determined glint shining through his dark pupils.

"Miss Xu," he said firmly, his voice calm but insistent, "please, go on."
