Zale stared silently at the scene unfolding in front of him. Many wild animals stare at the dead body under the moonlight, ripping out the gleaming fresh flesh. Some were eating from her neck, some were digging their teeth into her stomach, and some were fighting for her legs.
He stood there expressionless but filled with rage from inside as she received her karma, or so he thought. He now realizes it was all because of her. Maybe he wouldn't have been so bad if she hadn't kept giving him the wrong meds. He would have been normal, as Soren desires, and would have lived a more peaceful life.
Zale shakes his head, shaking off thoughts of things that can't be changed now.
He leaned against the tree, arms crossed, and watched as the body shrank and more bones became visible. He turns around to leave after ensuring that it is the appropriate time to leave because he needs to get back to his room before Soren returns from his so-called work.
