A large stadium encompassed the wide testing sight. There was a long table on the other side of where I stood, where there seemed to be glass or some magic mirrors gleaming into the stadium where teachers and examiners stood.
"You are August Opal correct? I'm sure you've already listened during the initial announcement, so let us know whenever you are ready."
"I'm ready but before we get started, I have a question."
"Yes what is it?"
"Why is there mana bunched up all over the place, would that not induce a mana zone?"
"Good question, it's for the test you will be taking, but I can't tell you anything else. It'd ruin the purpose of the test cutie~"
Why'd she do that with her words..? She was what I can only assume to be the head teacher of the tests.
She had long auburn hair almost reaching down to her feet, black glasses, and green eyes.
'Is she even allowed to say that?'
"..Thank you anyway. I'm ready for the test."
A large jungle seemingly sprouted up out of no where. Large tropical trees covered the area, with large vines that wriggled with life permeated throughout the environment.
Listening closely, I could hear tropical bird noises and bug's letting their cries be heard throughout the forest. The sun seemed to be beaming on me and it felt as if something had it's keen focus on what I was doing.
"This environment can both help and hinder you, so we suggest that you don't destroy it too much. However, you do as you see fit and what keeps you alive."
'..alive..?'
"The first monster you shall encounter will be a level 1 Dave Rabbit, however all of the monster's will be hunting you. Keep in mind they will find you regardless of where you are hiding."
..this should be pretty easy... I can see myself getting into the late teens based off of the first monster.....shoot what do I know.

One of the most renowned Mages in the kingdom, was granted the honor of teaching and guiding the youths that attended Brassica University.
They were known as Nevaeh Rothschild. She was practically born a saint, coming from one of the wealthier families of the empire, and one of the most dominant Mage factions.
She was born with a Heavens core, with an immense Mana limit. Her family poured a ridiculous amount of resources to cultivate her into one of the most influential and important figures in the world.
At 15 years old she had ascended to the Mid Heaven's realm, and had conducted research in one of the largest Mage towers of the kingdom.
At 20 she finally reached the peak, and became one of the many teachers of the University. Many wonder, why she chose to settle down, not that being a teacher at the institution was bad, she just had so many other choices.
"Because I love seeing new things~"
In front of her stood another one of the Examiners of the exam, Alex Downright.
"Can't you just explore the world for that..?"
"Well that'd be hard, considering the relationship we have with others.."
"Fair."
"But all these new Talents, don't you just love it??? The youth? The innocence? They radiate the best of human beings!"

'weirdo' he inwardly thought. Alex Downright, was also a powerhouse in his own right. Obtaining his Heaven core at 20, taking the risk of breaking his sky core, not many have done.
Being one of the veterans of the Academy being there for almost 10 years, he's seen his fair share of talents come and go.
'..what's with this kid's magic...'
"Like right there, August Opal, his magic is fascinating! What are those long poles, why do they release such a sudden burst of heat, and at such rapid speeds too!"
"It look's like a duplicate magic, we've seen things like that before, just not...this unique. Seems old..."
"Old..?"
"Yeah Old. I don't know how to explain it, but I swear I've seen it in history books."
"Weird..Anyway he's about to be on level 10!"

I shot down a large cat like monster that I had trouble hitting for the past 5 minutes. It stayed elusive in the forest, evading almost all of my bullets in the dense tree-line, but I finally got it down.
'I've always been more of a dog person.'
"Congratulations on reaching level 10, from now on the monsters will be considerably harder to defeat so good luck!"
I gave a slight nod at the information and began to try and relax so I could gain as much mana as I could. I wasn't exactly bottoming out on mana, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
*BOOM*
A large lizard like creature practically becoming the forest itself appeared in front of me.
*POW POW*
I let off a barrage of bullets and rocket fire on the monster, not even give it time to think or run away from me.
'SHIT'
I quickly ducked down seeing a large tail hurl its away towards my face, feeling the wind rush past me leaving a large dent on one of the trees behind me.
*POW POW*
Retaliating gunfire echoed throughout the canopy as I to ran away from the lizard like creature.
Summoning rocket launchers, I made a quick 180 to lock on to the target when..
"..It's gone..."
How did such a large thing, just suddenly disappear?
'Why can't everything just be SIMPLE!'
I surrounded myself with rocket launchers orbiting around me like a solar system, waiting for the slightest hint of movement or noise.
*BOOM*
I let off a barrage of rocket launchers towards a tree on the right of me, practically destroying the dense forest life around it.
'Not there'
Letting off another barrage, in the corner of my eye, towards the river on the other side. The lizard had seemingly turned invisible, disappearing from my view.
...Screw it, I'll just blow the whole damned area. I don't have time for this.
Applying my mana around me, I began to float in the air slowly, and built a dense layer of Mana to protect me from the possible heat and debris I was about to inure on the forest.
'This'll take a good chunk of mana..'
I slowly began to summon a large RGM missile. Shaped as a large white cone, with small protrusions coming out from the sides of the bottom, it deceptively failed to give off the destructive capabilities it truly had.
I pointed my palm towards the center of the arena, planning to get rid of the entire forest.
'Hopefully this makes the rest of the rounds easier.'
A small whistle was heard as the large missile went up into the air, eventually reaching its apex, and coming down.
"Student.. What exactly is th-"
*BOOOOOOM*
A large explosion was made, decimating the forest into scattered ashes and debris, along with the corpse of the lizard turning into a burnt crisp.
Waves of heat and pressure blew the surrounding area into wild winds. The examiners stood bewildered by the sheer power that the small cone released into the environment, blowing everything to smithereens.
'Should've been the first thing I used....'
When I hit the lower sky rank core, I had yet another vision, this time it was missile fire however. They protruded from the ground, the air, the sea, explosions were everywhere.
I wouldn't even describe myself as a violent person..this magic truly is something.
"Congratulations for passing level 10! We see that you destroyed the environment however. We wish you the best of luck on the future levels!"
