With extremely tired eyes, Alex wakes up. He could see the place clearly as before.
He wipes out the dry blood all over face. He wanted to wash his face in the water, but the fishes were still violent as ever.

Alex looks at the water current. The fish were still in same quantity. 'Where are these fishes even coming from? It's almost endless!
'Now that I know I can earn exp, should I farm these fishes? No my vitality is still not completely healed, I have to conserve strength as much as possible.
'I wonder whether I would heal faster or not if I meditate'
For the next 45 minutes, he focuses on meditating.

Although it was slow, it did helped him in recovering some of the vitality.
'I guess sleeping is the best way to recover vitality. But that's the main issue, I can't sleep peacefully.'
"Should I start farming these fishes?" Alex cracks his head, stretches his arms and legs, grabbing his fist tightly.
One after the another, Alex catches using the same old method.

But this method was consuming too much time, each attack was taking him more than 10 minutes. The more he tried the more the fish were starting to get warry.
'At this rate, I'll end up getting hungry again' Alex had tried eating the Black Piranha, however just taking a bite was draining his vitality.
'Until my vitality totally recovers I can't risk eating it. If I fell unconscious again, I won't be as lucky as earlier.'
5 hours had passed by -
Alex now felt extremely calm from the long session of meditation. He felt extremely fresh as if his brain just took a bath from all the dirts.

Alex all cool and calm, picks up one of the fishes from earlier and starts eating it.

Alex quickly spit out blood, but it wasn't like before. His eyes were red in blood but it wasn't leaking of it, however he was spilling blood from his mouth and nose. This was a huge improvement.
Posion Resistance skill was working, not that effectively, but still.
Vitality had dropped to 250, but it didn't went any further. And Alex looked quite okay.

After successfully resisting the poison, for the next few minutes he goes on hunting the fishes.
Alex had noticed his strength, agility and stamina had improved every time he slayed a fish.

Everything seemed too convenient for Alex, but he wasn't aware that this cave might just have been the only safe place in this world?.....or maybe not?
Somewhere in darkness, a creepy humongous eight legged creature was crawling around the cave.
Three Giant leeches were hunting down the Piranhas, and in an instant these same hunters became preys of the creepy creature that was crawling. All it took was a hit.
It was a Black Spider that looked like Trantula, about 8 feet tall. It was slowly approaching towards Alex.
Meanwhile Alex on the other hand was hunting down fishes one after the another.

'I've lost a good chunk of my vitality from killing them.' Upon closer look, the dead Piranha pilled up a lot.

'I'm almost about to breakthrough, once I reach level 2 will I gain something new? Maybe a new skill or something?' Tired, Alex just sat on the ground.
Soon he hears a noise coming from far away, he frowns.
Alex could hear the sound of the creature coming towards him thanks to the echoes.
Alex makes haste and starts running forward. He still wasn't sure what kind of monsters he would face but he most definitely did not want to meet the monster approaching him.
The Black Spider notices Alex's change of movements and increases it's speed. Alex was already running fast at this point, but the moment the spider increases it's speed, Alex's eyes widened in fear.
He didn't care anymore about whatever creature may be in front of him, be it Leeches or herd of rats or mother of Piranhas. He dodges all of the rats and leeches on the way and runs at a fast pace.
The Spider was catching up to him, behind the Black Spider were Wolf Spiders following along.
Alex didn't had the luxury to look back, he just knew that the monster behind him was dangerous.
Alex totally snaps out of it, he starts running way too fast more than his body could handle. His balance was way too off but for some reason he felt he could somehow manage to pull it off. It was the Sage Eyes.

He could see things more clearly and precisely despite being in dark. Alex only kept on going even faster.

Blood was leaking from his nose as he never slowed down.

After running for almost 5 whole minutes, he sees two different pathways, one was from where the water was flowing from and from the other he could see small ray of light coming from the far distance. Quickly exploding through the open door in high speed, he was now flying in the air.
The cave pathway was quite high from the ground, Alex immediately falls 6 meters down the ground.
The Spider had slowed down and stared at Alex from the entrance, after a short while it just went in back immediately.
Alex was both disgusted and terrified after seeing the creepy spider's face. He had no idea why the spider stopped the chase, was it afraid of leaving it's place? But anyway, it didn't chase him anymore, that's all that mattered.
Once Alex turned towards the new place, his eyes looked gloomy. The entire sky was dark blue, the trees looked dead, bats were everywhere. The place was massive, and far wide all where dead trees and extreme silence.
For the first time in a while, Alex was able to rest peacefully. He lies down in one of the trees and checks his status.

Alex was feeling extremely tired and his eyes looked as good as dead. As he was about to sleep, he notices a knight in white armor leaning to the other side of the tree.
This was his first time seeing a human in this world.
Alex taps the knight's shoulders but there was no response, maybe he is asleep? After trying to wake him up for the next few minutes, anxious and worried, Alex opens his helmet.
It was a Skeleton.
