Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Mistrust and Arguments

"Welcome back Kiba." Akeno greets Kiba on his arrival as he realizes that next to him is the new member of his club.

"Wow... Akeno?" Kentaro said her name in a surprised tone as he saw her again after she left the classroom.

"Ara ara... so that boy next to my desk was you? I didn't know you knew me." Akeno was thrilled to be recognized by Kentaro and realized that he was no ordinary person.

[His closeness to Akeno increases.]

"I know you in an unusual way, I'd say…" Kentaro says in a mysterious tone, giving the impression that his knowledge of her goes beyond just her existence.

Akeno puts his index finger to his lips, showing a mixture of feelings highlighted by confusion and curiosity… because she wasn't expecting such a subliminal response.

"Could you tell me this secret one day?" Akeno hesitates and asks Kentaro if he would be willing to tell him this secret.

He let out a little sigh and walked over to the sofa where Koneko was sitting and sat down next to her to relax his body and then answer her.

"I'll think about your case, Akeno-san." He finished as he put his two arms behind his head to support himself and looked up at the ceiling.

She accepted this patiently and sat down in a nearby armchair to wait for the President to get out of her daily bath.

Inside Kentaro's vast mind, as he observes everything around that room... he reflects and is relieved that the answer he gave Akeno at that moment was correct, as he felt it would be awkward if he admitted to everyone that everyone was just an anime character he had met when he was younger.

However, he feels that the development he would have with each one… wouldn't make them feel questioned about what he can say to each one in the future, and that he would think very carefully about why he would compliment them on this knowledge he has about the people of this world.

[Day 4, 11:20 PM, (Monday) In the Room of the Occult Studies Club]

While they were waiting for Rias to get out of her bath, which had been twenty minutes, Kiba ended up leaving his cup of tea on the table, and he asked Kentaro something.

"I get the impression that it's not just Akeno you know, but the rest of this room... how?" Kiba crosses his legs and arms as he sits in an armchair on the left.

"You're always walking around the academy campus, how can I not know who you are?" Kentaro retorts, looking directly into Kiba's eyes, which were insatiably searching for questions.

"But you joined the academy two days ago, how did you get to know all of us so quickly?" Kiba continues, trying to challenge him on his questions.

Kentaro takes his cell phone out of his pocket and opens his photo gallery so that he can show simple, concrete proof to put an end to this whole debate... and shows Kiba a photo that puts an end to the whole affair.

"On a part of the corridor that connects the link to the main interior of the Academy, there is a wall of 3x4 photos plus the names of students from each class... and you are there because of the school register." Kentaro argues, showing in detail what was on the screen of his cell phone, and Kiba is at a loss for words.

He then sat down next to Koneko, who was quietly watching the candles that were burning peacefully in the room.

"But wait, why was that-" Kiba tries to counter this argument, but he is interrupted by a sudden knock on the table from Akeno.

"Is that it? Kiba-san." Akeno intimidates him and with his piercing gaze, he realizes that he must sit down and shut up in the face of this order.

No one should defy the Vice President's orders, as she is the queen of this board... without her while Rias is away, everything could be out of order, where everyone should work together instead of clashing for their own advantage.

The whole room was completely silent, while Kentaro stood with his arms crossed waiting for Rias... Kiba had a neutral face and showed nothing but questioning and distrust for the Hyoudou boy.

[His closeness to Kiba ended up diminishing because of the mistrust he had generated].

The system quickly warned Kentaro in front of his eyes, where only he could see the system's warning unless he allowed other users to see the panels of his twilight system.

"Forgive me for taking so long to shower, I think I was mistaken about how my body was." Rias apologized to the room staff as she walked out of the door, where she was already in uniform and smelling pleasant.

"Wasn't that your daily bath, President?" Akeno asked with a look of doubt and his head turned slightly towards Rias' eyes.

"I lied, I had to charge for this bath here since Kentaro's parent's house didn't have a shower..." Rias explains the reason with a little enthusiasm and rests both hands on a nearby piece of wooden furniture.

Kentaro is a little embarrassed by this, as he has also come to like showering because of his home in another world... but unfortunately, he can't admit it to her just yet.

Rias noticed Kentaro's slight shyness, and she giggled randomly without having to look him in the eye... making everyone in the room wonder why she was laughing.

"Well, since you're all gathered here... our new club member is here, and I hope you can help him in any way you can, okay?" Rias shows a smile on his face as he introduces Kentaro Hyoudou as a new member of the club and adds the finishing touches to a vocation.

They all end up agreeing, Koneko does a Thumbs-up with her right hand, Kiba nods his agreement and keeps his head down and Akeno smiles at her President's words and is willing to help in any way she can.

"Well, I was wondering what this club does in general, what the activities are?" Kentaro asks a question because he has doubts about the club and needed answers.
