Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 - Home

Glenn looked down at Joren with eyes full of sadness. He then sighed and sat back down to explain everything to him.

"You see when you were on your way to Bakers Town with your father, a group of bandits ambushed you all. These weren't ordinary bandits either, they belonged to one of the 13 Bandit Strongholds. They are a group of outlaws that made their home in certain parts of forests, close to travel paths so they can rob, kill, or take protection fees." He continued

"Normally, the higher-ups would take action against such people, but these people were too strong. Because of this, travelers avoided the roads that were close to the strongholds. But unfortunately, they noticed this and started going out of their way to expand their influence."

Joren listened intently, not wanting to miss a single detail. He had put the 13 bandit strongholds annihilation in the back of his mind to come back to when he's stronger.

"When your group encountered the bandits, they were demanding a hefty sum of money. Your father refused and this escalated into a fight. Unfortunately, most of the group was killed. One of them managed to survive and inform me of what happened. When I learned of this, I rushed over as fast as I could, but when I arrived, all of them were dead." A tear slid down Glenn's cheek as he spoke.

"Your father was barely clinging to life when I noticed him. I fed him healing potions but it was to no avail. The last thing he told me was to find you. I checked the area but didn't find you at all. That meant you were taken by the bandits. I had no idea where you went so I spent the next five years searching every place I could think of, and asked many more people if they saw someone who at least resembled you, but my leads would always go cold. I was on my way to Bakers Town with my team to make some money when we ran into you. The rest is history." Glenn patted Joren on the shoulder and had a look of approval on his face. He was thankful that Joren managed to survive. He wasn't religious, but he thanked the Gods for keeping him safe all these years.

"Are my mommy and sisters okay? I know they must be worried. I miss them a ton. I thought about them every day. I wanna see them." Joren's eyes started watering but he forced himself not to cry. He had shed enough tears. He needed to be strong now.

"They are doing alright. Although they are still grieving the loss of you and your father, they are doing pretty well for themselves." Glenn smiled

"Your mother took the news really hard. She was bedridden for two months and was never the same. Your sisters took it hard as well but the loss of you and your father gave them a new resolve to become strong and never let what happened happen ever again. I even started training both of them. Currently, your eldest sister is at the Royal Academy of Magic." Glenn stated

'Woah, that's amazing' Joren thought. He didn't know what that academy was, but going off of its name, it obviously had to be a bigshot academy for magic. Like come on, it has 'Royal' in its name, that's gotta mean something.

"Your other sister hasn't joined the academy yet, but she has already learned mana and is on track to become very strong," Glenn spoke with pride in his voice. Maybe it was because he was proud that he managed to help two grieving girls start their journey to become strong warriors, or maybe it was because he was their teacher and he was proud to see his students doing well. Maybe both.

"Uncle Glenn, can you train me as well? I don't want to be weak. I wanna protect my mommy and sisters. I will be the strongest person in the world." Joren lifted his hands over his head and had a big smile on his face. He was serious about being the strongest. No one would get in the way of his dream.

"Haha, of course, I'll train you. I'll make you so strong that if you decide to go to the academy, no one will be able to bully you just because you're a commoner."

'Oh great. I'm a commoner. I forgot this world was heavy on feudalism. Now I have to deal with those little bitches who always say "Well my father is bla bla bla" when something doesn't go their way. Ohhh how I can't way to beat the shit out of them.' a grin formed on Joren's face

"Your mother will be very happy to see you. Although she's okay how she hasn't been the same ever since what happened. But with you being back, I'm sure she will return to her old happy cheerful self." He patted Joren on the head.

After finishing their conversation, Glenn headed outside the carriage to check on the others. During this time, Joren and Pantera were chatting away. He asked about what they do and where they travel to when they get hired. It was an amazing conversation. Joren and Pantera shared many laughs and surprisingly, she was awfully clingy and touchy with him. He didn't mind it though. After they finished talking, Joren felt tired, so he went to sleep. Pantera held him close and rested him on her breast to act as his pillow.

About two hours later, Joren woke up and they arrived at Wolf Pine Village, the village where Joren lived, as well as Glenn and his companions. The village was surrounded by many trees and had a large wooden wall that circled the village, blocking any entry attempt from wild animals and whatnot.

After passing through the gate, they came across many stores doing business, adults buying items, and children running around having fun.

'Seems like this is the market area.' Joren assumed

Glenn looked for an area that sold clothes so Joren could have some for his stay at his house. He picked up a few sets that Joren would need such as pajamas, underwear, outing clothes, and house clothes. After he was done, they left the market.

After leaving the market, they entered the center of the village which had a fountain that sprouted water upwards making a veil of water as it descended back down, and a church off to the side. There were also many other buildings like a clinic, a learning hall for basic knowledge, and a blacksmith.

Continuing, they made it to the residential area where many houses and a tavern were located. The group passed by many buildings until they made it to one that had a stable and a place to park the caravan.

"Joren, I apologize for not telling you earlier but do you remember when I told you that your Oldest sister got accepted into the Royal Academy? Well, your mother and sister also went with her to the acceptance ceremony. It's not easy for a commoner to get accepted into that academy, so it was a really big deal. The capital is a two-week journey from the village so for the next month, you will be living in my home with my wife."

"That's okay. This makes it even better 'cause when they get back, they will get the greatest present they ever could have asked for, me!" He smiled

"Haha, you damn right." He patted Joren on the back. "I won't be here since I also have to go to the capital for work and pick up your mother and sister. But I should be back within a month and when I return, I'll help you become strong like you want."

Glenn and Joren started walking to his home while the rest of the group separated for the time being. After a five-minute walk, they made it to Glenn's home. Glenn pulled out a key, unlocked the door and they both walked in.

"Lauren I'm home!" He shouted

"Coming honey" Lauren shouted back

Glenn's home had a cozy feeling. Upon entering, you were met with a small hall where you would keep your shoes. Walking further, you'd enter the living room. A long couch sat in the middle of the room accompanied by two smaller couches on the side. There was a table in front of the long couch and a fireplace.

Off to the left side of the house were the kitchen and dining area, there were many cooking supplies out, maybe his wife was cooking before they arrived. Moving slightly to the right, a hallway was there leading somewhere but Joren didn't know where it led to, maybe a washroom? Finally, off to the far right stood stairs leading to a second floor where the bedrooms were located.

Walking down these stairs was a beautiful woman. She had long orange hair that reached her back. She had hazel eyes and a smile that would melt the heart of any man. Her breasts were huge and she had a big ass as well. An overall voluptuous body. Her boobs bounced and swayed as she walked down the stairs, Joren's eyes glued to them.

'Holy shit she's sexy. Those are some mommy milkers right there. I'd love to play with them fun bags.'

Lauren walked over to Glenn and gave him a kiss.

"Welcome home, Dear. I thought you were on your way to the capital. And who is this little cutie." She reached down and pinched Joren's cheeks as her breasts swayed once more.

Grinning from ear to ear Glenn said, "I was on my way but I ran across him on my way back. Lauren, he's Joren. Glenda's son. The one who went missing five years ago. I finally found him."

Lauren looked at Glenn as her eyes widened in shock. She then looked back at Joren and saw the smile on his face.

"Hey Auntie Lauren, I missed you"
