Chapter 25 - CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

As they both got to the Alchemy class they were surprised to see Lily there too, Lily too was quiet surprised she eagerly waved to them. As they entered the class it was quiet an astonishing sight after all each class represents what was being thought.

Alchemy class(portion making)

The Alchemical Laboratory is a spacious, well-ventilated room filled with rows of wooden workstations, each equipped with a stone mortar and pestle, collection of glass beakers, flasks, and vials, small, flameless burner (enchanted to prevent accidents), built-in, magically reinforced storage compartment for ingredients.

Towering shelves line the walls, stocked with rare herbs and botanicals, exotic minerals and ores, crystal vials containing essences and extracts, Leather-bound tomes on alchemical theory and recipes.

A large, ornate cauldron sits atop a central worktable, surrounded by intricate, glowing runes. This cauldron serves as a focal point for demonstrations and experiments.

Soft, ethereal glow emanates from luminescent orbs suspended from the ceiling, providing ample lighting for delicate work.

Professor Sage's workspace is situated at the front of the room, featuring beautifully crafted, wooden desk adorned with strange, alchemical symbols, collection of personal, rare ingredients and equipment, large, leather-bound textbook on advanced potion making

The air is thick with the scent of herbs, minerals, and something slightly mysterious. Students often comment on the room's unique energy, which seems to foster creativity and experimentation.

Seraphinna and Eliana walked in followed by other students, they sat with Lily placing their books on the wooden desk.

" I thought I would have to find people to sit with, but I'm so happy you guys are here " Lily said happily

" We too " Seraphinna answered.

" Lily have you heard about the founders of the school " Eliana asked

" Yes " she knew after all it wasn't something hidden.

" Can you tell me what you've heard " Eliana egarly asked even Seraphinna looked a bit interested.

Lily was confused

" Why are you asking about that "

" Well we had history class and we were given the assignment to report on the founders of the school " Eliana explained.

Lily thought then said

" Oh, if that's the case, the things I've heard are mostly how they created the school, and the love interest between two of the founders but i don't know who they are, oh and also about something called the great schism that destroyed the bond of the elders forever... "

* Clap *

Their discussion was stopped by the sound they heard, gradually the murmurs around the class calmed down too untill it was quiet, and everyone's attention was on the person standing in the middle of the class room.

" Now that I've gotten your attention welcome, young alchemists! I am Professor Sage, and I am thrilled to introduce you to the fascinating world of potion making. In this class, you will learn the fundamental principles of alchemy, from the basics of ingredient selection to the intricacies of magical reactions.

He paused allowing his words to flow, the continued

" As we embark on this journey, remember that alchemy is not just about mixing ingredients; it's an art that requires patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of the mystical forces at play. You will be working with rare and exotic materials, some of which may be unfamiliar to you. Please handle them with care and respect.

Throughout the semester, we will explore various potion types, including healing elixirs, protective charms, and transmutational concoctions. You will learn to analyze recipes, identify ingredients, and experiment with different techniques to create unique potions.

Our classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and safety features to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment. I encourage you to ask questions, share your ideas, and learn from one another. "

He stopped and took in a breath then continue

" Before we begin, let's establish some ground rules:

2. *Respect the materials*: Treat all ingredients and equipment with care, as they may be rare or irreplaceable.

3. *Collaboration*: Share your knowledge and ideas with your peers, but be mindful of individual projects and intellectual property.

4. *Experimentation*: Don't be afraid to try new things, but always follow proper procedures and protocols.

Now, let's start with our first lesson: 'Introduction to Alchemical Ingredients.' Please take out your textbooks and turn to page 12. We will be exploring the properties and uses of Wolf's Bane, Dragon's Breath, and Unicorn Tears."

The students brought out their textbooks and opened to the page 12, as murmurs and whispers started to circulate again.

Seraphinna was new to everything in the school but gradually she started to get use to it and understand it, after all she wasn't a lazy student and she had read books about this non existing things that are now existing, But it still took some time to understand all this things.

Seraphinna looked at the two people beside her who were reading on the page and taking notes, she looked around and saw everyone doing the same thing, but her eyes cut someone who was looking at her with eyes of disgust and anger.

Seraphinna was surprised, but even after the girl was cut she didn't even turn her head away she continued to stared. Seraphinna just turned her head away and focused on her book and started taking notes.

Professor sage begins the lesson, everyone delve into the world of alchemical ingredients. They learn about the unique properties of Wolf's Bane, Dragon's Breath, and Unicorn Tears, and how they can be used in various potions.
