Outside both Seraphinna and Eliana breath a sigh of relief as they were able to escape.
" That Selene, she has always been acting so high and mighty always arrogant and looking down on people, but why would she be targeting you, that's what I can't understand after all you guys have no connection "
Eliana said after some time of thoughts.
" That's not important now we need to go and meet Lily we've waisted too much time "
" Okay "Eliana didn't know why Selene was targeting her friend, but Seraphinna had a hunch what the reason could be.
Soon after they left, someone hidden in the shadow came out and looked at their leaving figures their eyes cold.
Soon Seraphinna and Eliana met up with Lily still ignoring the looks and whispers that were directed at them, together they head to the mini market behinde the Central keep.
Seraphinna had anticipated she might see something unexpected, her mind filled with brilliant ideas but unexpected she was stunned at how causal the market looked, it was so ordinary, it looked like any other mini markets outsides this walls. The only difference was what was sold here couldn't be sold outside. Seraphinna expectations were crushed and she could only sigh to her self.
" Ok here's what we need " Lily said as she brought out the paper containing the ingredients that were needed to make the protection charm portions. She read out
" The things we need are dried Wolf's Bane leaves,
crystal clear water, infused with moonstones essence. Those are for making the wolf's bane, while for the Dragon's Breath we will need only an ornate box containing a fragment of Dragon's Breath.
The last thing is a crystal vial "
" So what we need to get first is the dried Wolf's bane leaves " Seraphinna said after listening carefully.
They all searched for the place where they were selling the dried wolfs bane leaves. After checking for a while they finally found who was selling it.
Standing in front of the stall a shabby old woman with a hunch back and pointed nose with winkled face looked at them, she smiled giving them all chills.
" What would you like to buy, I have many valuables " her voice was old and shabby, she pushed a pile of sealed vials to them each with a different color.
None of them where willing to come forward to say what they wanted to buy finally after much hesitation Seraphinna gather her courage and walked forward.
" We would like to buy dried Wolf's bane leaves "
The old lady looked at Seraphinna's face.
" You have such lovely eyes, why not trade it with them "
" Huh? " ' trade her eyes, why would she it isn't possible 'she looked at the old woman with a frown
" It's not possible, if you can't trade it with other things the don't bother bringing them out. "
The old lady just shook her head
" What a waist of such precious good eyes " she sighed but still went to go and bring out the remaining wolfs bane leaves she had left.
" You guys are quiet lucky these are the only ones I have left, so what you give me better be valuable "
They were exactly three dreud wolf bane leaves left so quickly Seraphinna took out some cash and handed it to the old lady, but the old lady only looked at her but didn't take what she had given her.
Not understanding why the woman won't take the money, Seraphinna turned to Lily and Eliana for help as she didn't know why the old lady won't take the money, she retracted her hand, and kept back her money.
Eliana stepped up and brought out two moonstone out of her small bag she placed it on the wooden table and pushed the moonstones to her front, the old woman eyes sparkled as she saw the moonstones and egarly gave them her remaining dried wolfs bane leaves.
She looked at Eliana with her most charming smile, though she still felt those eyes where more valuable, she was still satisfied with this.
" Happy to help you come back any time " Unfortunately that smile she gaze made their hairs stand up they quickly retreated not forgetting to carry the dried wolfs bane leaves and left for the next stalls.
" Is this how dried wolfs bane leaves look like " Seraphinna observed the thing in her hand.
" Yes " Eliana answered.
Seraphinna didn't say anything anymore and gave the ingredients to Lily to put in her bag.
" The next thing we need is crystal clear water infused with moonstones essence " Lily said as she took the ingredients putting them in her bag.
" Is that how all stall owner are creepy? " Seraphinna asked.
" Well not all, but with time I guess we will get use to it " Lily said
" Oh look over their, they seem to be selling crystal water, I wonder if they will have the one with moon essence " said Eliana as she noticed a stall up ahead.
They walked towards that direction, when they got their, they saw a man sitting at the front of the stall setting up somethings.
Lily walked up to him
" Sir we want to know if you have, crystal clear water, the one with moonstones essence. "
" I'm already out of stock "
The man didn't even look up as he said.
" Oh, well do know where we can get some "
" Opposite this stall "
" Ah thank you ".
They went to the next stalls but it still had the same problem, after walking to about five stall they finally found what they needed, they immediately bought it
Soon they move round the market and bought all the things they needed, as they left the market it was already time for dinner, they immediately headed to the Convivium hall, their food was served and they dug in.
" While I was waiting for you in the library I happen to hear some rumors about khaos Xandros and was very interesting " While eating Lily suddenly talked.
Seraphinna paused, while Eliana already had a gossip look on her face
" What did they say? "
" Well I heard that he and a girl were both seen coming out of a closed room, and he was carrying her out, I think something happened that made the girl extremely weak that she had to be carried out " Lily winked at them " you get what I mean right "
" Hearing the news Eliana was surprised and egar to know more.
" Do you know who he person is? "
" I don't know but they did say the girl is among us freshers cause they haven't seen her face before "
" Really? "
" Yeah "
As they continue talking that didn't notice Seraphinna who face had a bit shade of red and was completely focusing on her meal not contributing a word as they talked on.
" And guys what? "
" What? "
" They said he even carried her around the school, they even kissed at one certain point "
Eliana gasphed
" So.... "
" When will we do the assignment " Seraphinna interjected, 'rumors are really scary they can turn and twist the truth I can't hear anymore'
" I think we should do it tommorow but I don't think we'll have any free time so maybe the next day after that " Eliana said.
" Yeah I agree too, I'm not sure I'll be free tomorrow " Lily also agreed.
" Since that it, we are done eating so let's go and rest I'm quiet tried now " Seraphinna yawned
" Alright let's go "
Finally the discussion ended and Seraphinna was able to divert their attention, so they head to their rooms and Seraphinna slept off after changing, after all she wasn't lieing when she said she was tired.
