Kang Chunho said, his eyes scanning Gu Jeoyoon's attire, his smile cold and calculating.
Gu Jeoyoon felt a shiver run down his spine as he met Kang Chunho's gaze. He still couldn't accept that he was now Kang Chunho's property.
"Thank you, Chunho," Gu Jeoyoon said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Kang Chunho's eyes seemed to bore into his soul, his expression unreadable despite the smile on his face. Gu Jeoyoon felt a sense of unease wash over him, he knew that he was in danger.
"Chunho?"Kang Chunho said, his voice low and husky.
"...."
"Pardon my previous words, master Chunho.."
Gu Jeoyoon bit his lips as he bowed, what he hated the most was having to call someone lord or master.
Kang Chunho smiled and waved his hands.
"You're free to address me by my name. You're my pet after, if you want a pet to obey...you must train it and give it what it likes."
"..."
"I'm a human not a dog, Master Chunho," Gu Jeoyoon muttered, he had already put down his pride to go along this man's whims. But he could not accept being treated like a dog.
But Kang Chunho just laughed, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, Jeoyoon," he said. "You're so cute. But you're my servant are you not? My very special pet. You're going to make a perfect bride."
Jeoyoon's heart stopped when he heard Kang Chunho's words.
"Bride! Bride! You bought me so you could marry me? I'm a man...master Chunho.."
"If you can give birth, can you still call yourself a man? I'll make you my wife and return you back to your noble status. Isn't that what you always wanted?"
Gu Jeoyoon bit his lips as he stared Kang Chunho, was he really ready to give up his title as a man, Kang Chunho didn't even see him as a man.
"You can think about it over lunch..."
Kang Chunho placed his arm over Jeoyoon and lead him to his room.
"Wait...wait...I'm not hungry again, I suddenly feel tired and would like to retire to my room for some rest.."
"..."
"Nonsense! You skipped breakfast, you can skip lunch as well...you must be very hungry.."
Gu Jeoyoon gritted his teeth, he clearly had more bulk than Chunho, how was it that he was able to push him despite him resisting.
"I asked the cooks to make a lot of delicious dishes for you....I'll be sad if you don't eat them.."
Jeoyoon sighed he couldn't escape anymore they had already gotten to Chunho's room.
Kang Chunho sat down placing his hat on the floor, his blonde hair cascading down like a waterfall.
Jeoyoon eyes widened, he had such beautiful locks, they were shiny and lustrous he could tell Chunho took good care of it.
"Seat, we have much to discuss about.."
Jeoyoon sighed and sat down, seeing was there was no escaping the situation.
"What is it you want to discuss about?"
Kang Chunho smiled and added more meat to Jeoyoon's bowl before saying.
"I want to know about your constitution, where you born this way or did something happen along the way.."
Jeoyoon stared at the bowl of rice, playing with his fingers nervously, this was the first time in a long while.
He had to explain to someone about his constitution.
"The food is much sweeter when it's hot, Jeoyoon is your constitution something you cannot share?"
Kang Chunho took a sip of the wine, licking his lips while admiring the wine's good taste.
"It's not that I can't share, you'll find it funny if you hear how I got to be this way..."
"..."
Kang Chunho stroked his chin, was it really that embarrassing? Seeing how Jeoyoon fidgeted, he guessed it was.
"I promise I won't laugh, no matter how funny it is.."
Kang Chunho raised three fingers, a gesture that signified his seriousness and promise.
"Well...do you believe in the existence of gods?"
Kang Chunho shrugged, the people claimed there was a dragon god protecting Goyeo kingdom but he didn't believe that.
After all why believe in something that you've never seen or heard before.
"I suppose.."
He muttered, taking a sip from the cup and added more meat to Jeoyoon's bowl.
"Well I used to think they were real and then I disrespect Yooshin..."
Yooshin? Kang Chunho raised a brow, Yooshin was the supposedly god of Goyeo kingdom.
And if it was a case that it was real, how could someone like Jeoyoon offend it?
"You may not know but my mother's family is a direct descendant of Yooshin and they have a certain type of tradition they do each year. It was my little sister's turn but she was afraid so I took her place and said her prayers. I used to be believe, Yooshin wasn't really until I said those prayers."
"Truth is, men weren't allowed to say those prayers, as it was a prayer for fertility and childbirth. I had broken all the rules in one day, my mother was scared to death, you can only imagine what happened next.."
Jeoyoon paused and took a sip of the wine, he wasn't sure if he could continue this conversation clear headed.
"What happened next?"
"Yooshin appeared in my dreams and said she had granted my wishes. She said when I meet my destined other half, my life would be filled with happiness and contentment. She said my life would be great but it became nothing but hell after. As time passed my family began to notice these changes and when my father found out about...well, brought a man to meet me, I was 16 at the time, I can't remember what happened when we got together but it was hot and very painful, after that I got pregnant..."
Kang Chunho stroked his chin, if he did get pregnant what happened to the child?
"What happened to the child?"
Gu Jeoyoon bit his lips, this was the hardest part of the story.
"I lose her, when she hatched.."
Hatched??
Kang Chunho blinked, did he just say hatched? The child came out as an egg?
"I'm a man, I'm naturally not supposed to give birth...the egg is protective gauze for the baby."
Kang Chunho nodded, he guessed that made sense.
"Apparently if it's not my destined half, no matter how hard I try to get a child, it would only hatch and then die few minutes after. I'd grown attached, I couldn't believe it at first but over the coming months I got used to it and loved her deeply, I felt a part of me had died alongside the child that day.."
