It was as if everything had stood still.
Everything and everyone fading into the darkness.
It was just Amy and I.
The tension was heavy and my breathing got difficult each time.
I was slowly beginning to sweat, as each sweat drop made contact with the void surface.
Then almost instant and abrupt, I remembered that ending.
The game's ending, that I despised with everything I got.
My mind replayed how Draven, the actual true protagonist was suspended mid air by a rocky spike.
Blood draining from the massive hole on his chest.
The revelation that was made.
The 'Blessed Children of this Era' were actually the world's villains.
Following a new constellation.
A constellation that had appeared with more other.
Constellations that were not like the big 3.
These constellations were different.
And that was how the war began.
I remembered that feeling I felt when the screen went blank and that message was displayed.
[You Have Completed The Final Act!]
My blood was boiling and Amy just stood there staring at me emotionless.
She was one of them, the betrayers.
The bitches regarded as 'Main Characters.'
Now everything was truly in slow motion.
I tried moving my fingers as they complied slowly.
Still sweating.
My yellow eyes fixated on the blue-haired girl.
There was a thought...
A thought that was consuming me with each passing second.
Then instantly without warning.
An icicle materialized on my hand.
But this time I held it, like a dagger. And my eyes still on Amy I leaped and pinned her on the ground.
Noone is watching. I can just do it, right?
That's right, I'll fucking Kill you...here and now!
Maybe I'll finally get satisfied...
Amy didn't speak, she blocked my hand that had the icicle.
I was on top of her.
Her shirt half unbuttoned.
Neck.
"Go for the NECK!"
Something kept on telling me.
I complied and moved my hand that wa slowly freezing from the ice magic.
I gripped the icicle, now turned dagger.
With one swift motion, it made contact with something.
A squelching sound.
Blood splattered on my face.
Did I do it?
Did I finally bring an end to one of the main characters?
I averted my gaze to where the icicle had made contact and driven through something meaty.
Only to find Amy still breathing.
It didn't work.
Instead Amy blocked the icicle with her hand and it passed through her palm.
There's no going back now.
I forced my body, pushing all the strength and mana I had left to my arms, both holding the icicle.
I didn't scream, eyes soulless.
And just like that I overpowered her, the icicle passed through her completely her palm and through her neck.
Blood gushed out, like a fountain.
Spraying my face and even teeth.
Iron. The taste of someone else blood.
I stood up, Amy was lifeless. She wasn't moving.
Anyone could tell that....she was dead!
...

"..."
"Didn't you hear me?"
"Pick up my key card..."
An angry Amy called out bringing back to reality from the most wild imagination I've ever had.
It was all just an intrusive thought.
I knew I couldn't actually do it.
'Kill her here?'
If I was dumb and careless then maybe.
I don't want the Imperial Knights on my tail.
That would be the end of my life, no way back to my original world.
I would die here.
So no.
There's no point in killing her here and now.
She's too powerful and her stats speak so.
"...are you deaf?"
Amy called out yet again to Noah.
Noah fully returned to the current situation blinked thrice or rather multiple times.
He didn't want to draq attention as some students were looking at him.
Noah picked up the card.
'First...gain her utmost trust...'
"Here you go, I genuinely apologize Miss Bluerose."
Noah said then bowing.
"As you should be..your a commoner after all..."
Amy said.
Noah knew even though she would turn to a life of destruction and chaos, that was later in the game and not now.
Right now, she was a nice girl, just someone who is arrogant and carries alot of pride.
'An immense one at that...'
"I'm actually from a Count House...haha."
Noah replied smiling nervously.
"...so just a rich commoner?"
Amy said.
"What?..."
Noah stated.
"That's what Count Houses are...just slightly richer commoners..."
Amy replied, one of her hands on her chin.
"No?..."
She tilted her head.
'This bitc- '
Noah almost said but calmed down.
"Since when did Count Houses influence merchant routes in the continent?"
Noah countered the question.
He wasn't in the whole discriminating thing but he had to leave Amy mad...just little.
"Well...I mean...ugggh!!"
"Whatever...just stay out of my way next time."
Amy said leaving as her blue hair shimmered and swayed.
Everyone around looked rather shocked and amused at the same time.
But they didn't dare to confront Noah.
Noah proceeded in and took his key card to the dorm.
The next one hour was spent in commuting from the Tuition Cube through the Town Centre and to the dormitories.
Through the trip that was by a bus powered by mana.
Noah had actually slept through, catching small glances until he was tge only one left in the bus.
The driver came to him announcing of their arrival at the Students Dormitories.
Noah looked at the Dormitories that shot up to the sky.
It was tall and huge, wide at the same time.
At the very tippy top was the Academy's symbol.
Noah marveled at the fact he was actually standing infront of the dorms he had seen countless times behind his monitor.
Noah went in and was actually relieved his room wasn't at the top floors.
13 floors.
His room was at the 6 floor.
Still a bother in climbing all those stairs, but he didn't mind.
It was another way of training his body and increasing stats even if it was by one.
He arrived in his room.
It was spacious, each room included a shower as well.
"Looks just like my room..."
Noah muttered looking around.
Study desk, dark blue royal like chair that leaned more on black.
A wide window with blue curtains that let in the sunset light.
Beside the desk were bookshelves.
At the bed he finally saw his belongings that were left at the gate.
And next to it was a box with the academy's symbol and badge.
He read the letter on it.
Dear Esteemed Student,
Welcome to Ravenwood Magic Academy.
It was that brief.
He opened the box, revealing the student watch.
It looked modern and futuristic, even more than the life he previously lived.
The game was an incredible blend of medeival and modern after all.
Noah put on the watch and immediately linked with him calling out like the system.
[Binding successful!]
[Transferring student's data and information]
Displayed infront of him was a holographic window he knew was visible to everyone unlike the systems.
There was no info that could be considered confidential in the watch, so it was okay.
Then an abrupt message came up on the watch.
Noah clicked on the mail letter icon.
A single message glared at him.
[The students Magic Power Evaluation will take place tomorrow.
To determine the 'Blessed Sage' of this year's first year students. See you at the Magic Department Hall, and yes, Knight department students should also be present]
[Compulsory!]
"Wait...Blessed Sage..."
"That's the title given to the strongest student according to Magic power measurement..."
