"Eh?"
"Wait...maybe she might be reading it backwards."
As much as Noah wanted to believe, that wasn't the case and he knew it.
86%.
'That was the final score the original Noah had gotten in the exams...'
'To think he'd be the first...'
Noah closed his eyes, he didn't know what type of abilty he was going to showcase.
'Certainly not [Constellation's Insight], it's not like they'd see it.'
He had no skills at that, only elemental abilities.
To top it off, he was just getting used to ice magic and it was the only one he was competent with.
Lightning magic? It was almost like it was new to him, even the original Noah himself only horned his ice magic.
'This is going to be a pain in the ass...'
'It's not like I'm aiming to be the Blessed Sage...but I need to perform well enough to be in the top 50 atleast...'
"Status..."
Noah whispered lightly as the familiar interface materialized before him.

'250?...that should be good for an icicle, right?'
He askes himself not particularly wanting an answer but to just comfort himself.
"Mr.Ashbourne?"
Professor Sharon called once more as she looked around.
The other students were doing the same, not knowing who the person was, they just looked all over until they saw someone stand up.
'...Just go with it...'
Noah comforted himself and stood up.
He walked down the path that separated the desks one step at a time.
Feeling the weight of the gazes on him, Noah decided to brush it off.
"Noah, the platform is yours, don't think much just do what you've always done with your magic and abilities..."
Professor Sharon said, doing little to calm Noah who was nervous and relaxed at the same time.
Even he couldn't tell what he was feeling.
Noah took in deep breaths all eyes on him.
He looked at the blue crystal before him, shimmering like it always did.
'She said it was difficult to break it...not like I tend to anyways...'
Noah stretched forth his hand.
Slowly he began drawing the mana from the centre of his chest directing it to his palm.
The space where he stood was a bit windy as cold air swirled around him.
And surely enough an icicle formed on his palm.
Thinking about it, the icicle began spinning.
To his dismay, the spinning started increasing its speed, faster and faster.
It glowed more blue.
The spinning was violent that it even made his fingers hurt.
His hand was getting cold.
Noah clenched his teeth and supported his right arm with the left.
'Why the fuck won't it release...'
He thought.
The wind was getting intense.
His palm? Slightly blue and icy.
"It...it hurts..."
Noah mumbled.
What was he doing wrong?
'Just shoot...'
He shouted in his head.
Noah felt as if his chest was getting drained.
Perhaps his mana pool?
'That's impossible, this spell only requires a mana quantity of 8...no further...'
"What's he doing?"
"I think he doesn't know how to release the ice magic..."
"That's stupid, if he didn't then why would he choose it in the first place..."
"I don't know, maybe testing his limits..."
"Who knows..."
Students began talking and murmuring one by one.
Faces of shock and concern filled the room.
After what seemed like a while, Noah finally released the icicle as it shot at the crystal.
Noah bent down a bit.
"...shit..."
His arm was blue and almost completely frozen.
Even though it was numb, it ached in a way.
The room was silent.
To the point someone would drop a pin and it would be heard, even the buzzing of a fly could be heard.
Noah finally getting used to the pain and wincing a bit looked up.
"...He, he made damaged the crystal..."
One student whispered.
Noah looked at the crystal and sure enough, the icicle he had shot was penetrated in it, letting out a chilling smoke.
Atleast half of it.
Still it was unexpected.
Before Noah could make out what had happened, Professor Sharon interrupted him.
"Wow, excellent showcase I must say..."
"You even managed to pierce through the crystal..."
"Okay, we move on now...to the next until we are all done..."
