Thomas Tower has been re organized into Larry's image, as the new head, he has employed new employees to work for him and to report to him directly, he has a plan to take over the Tower Mark, ever since his father had died there has been a lot of competitor trying to get in power and be the controller of Thomas Tower because whom ever control it would have access to all the trades overseas and such person would become a billionaire.
And moreso, Larry was the closest partner Mark's father has before he died mysteriously and Larry has no competitor because the only competitor he could have is Jefferson Daina's and his now his closest friend and business partner, so it means whomever among them has control over the Tower would make a lot of senses.
Jefferson decided to visit Larry at the Tower his visit to his house to inform him that Mark had called him last night, informing him that Diana is awake and healthy and he should be able to return back to his Tower as soon as she leaves the Hospital.
Diana's father, turned to Larry Johnson with a sinister grin. "You know, I've been thinking, we can use Diana to get to Mark Thomas, because if we don't act we might get caught."
Larry Johnson raised an eyebrow. "How do you plan to do that?"
Jefferson's eyes gleamed with malice. "We'll use her as bait. We'll make sure Mark thinks she's in danger, and he'll come running to save her. And then...we'll take care of him."
Larry Johnson nodded, a cruel smile spreading across his face. "I like it. But what makes you think Diana will go along with it?"
Jefferson chuckled. "Oh, she won't have a choice. We'll manipulate her, use her feelings for Mark against her. She'll do exactly what we want, and Mark will never suspect a thing."
Larry Johnson's eyes narrowed. "And what about if she refuse to go along with our plans?
"She won't Larry I trust my daughter I know how to get to her emotional minds."
Jefferson waved his hand dismissively. "We'll take care of that too. We'll make sure she doesn't remember anything that can incriminate us. And even if she does...we'll make sure she's too afraid to speak out."
The two men shared a cold, calculating glance, their minds working together to spin a web of deceit and betrayal that would ultimately lead to Mark Thomas's downfall.
Diana sat in the therapist's office, her eyes fixed on the floor as she struggled to put her thoughts into words. Dr. Patel had recommended therapy to help her process her memories and emotions, and Diana had reluctantly agreed.
The therapist, a kind-eyed woman named Dr. Lee, leaned forward in her chair. "Diana, can you tell me more about what's been bothering you? You mentioned feeling confused and scared."
Diana took a deep breath, trying to sort through the jumble of emotions inside her. "I don't know what's real and what's not. I remember things, but they feel...off. And Mark...I don't know if I can trust him."
Dr. Lee nodded encouragingly. "Go on."
Diana's voice cracked as she spoke. "I remember being in love with him, but then I remember him doing things...terrible things. And my father...he's involved in something bad, I know it."
Dr. Lee's expression remained calm and non-judgmental. "We'll work through this, Diana. We'll uncover the truth and help you heal."
As the session progressed, Diana began to open up, sharing her fears and doubts with Dr. Lee. It was a small step towards recovery, but Diana felt a glimmer of hope for the first time in weeks. Maybe, just maybe, she could uncover the truth and find peace.
Dr. Lee nodded thoughtfully. "Diana, I think it's time we tried something new. Have you ever heard of bone therapy?"
Diana shook her head, curious. "No, what's that?"
Dr. Lee explained, "It's a form of therapy that focuses on releasing physical tension stored in the body. Sometimes, our bodies hold onto trauma and stress, and this can manifest as pain or discomfort. By targeting specific areas of the body, we can help release those stored emotions and promote healing."
Diana looked skeptical, but willing to try anything. "Okay, let's do it."
Dr. Lee led Diana to a specialized room, where a trained therapist, Rachel, was waiting. Rachel explained that she would apply gentle pressure to specific points on Diana's body, focusing on the bones and joints.
As the session began, Diana felt a mix of emotions. At first, she felt resistant, her body tensing up in anticipation. But as Rachel worked on her, applying gentle pressure to her shoulders, hips, and spine, Diana started to relax.
She began to feel a release, like tiny bubbles rising to the surface and popping. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she let go of some of the pent-up emotions.
Rachel worked on Diana's skull, using craniosacral therapy to release tension in her head and neck. Diana felt a wave of calm wash over her, like a soothing balm.
As the session ended, Diana opened her eyes, feeling lighter, freer. She knew it was just the beginning, but she felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she could heal and move forward.
Charles Bethea walked into the hospital room, a somber expression on his face. Diana looked up at him, a mix of emotions in her eyes.
"Hey, Charles. What brings you here?" she asked, her voice weak but curious.
Charles took a deep breath before speaking. "I need to tell you something, Diana. Something important."
Diana's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing the gravity of the situation. "What is it?"
Charles hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "I went to your father's house to give him the note you asked me to deliver. But when I got there, I overheard something. Something that made my blood run cold."
Diana's grip on the bedsheet tightened. "What did you hear?"
Charles's voice dropped to a whisper. "I heard your father and Larry Johnson talking about using you to get to Mark Thomas. They're planning something, Diana. Something bad."
Diana's eyes widened in horror, her mind racing with the implications. "What else did you hear?"
Charles's face was grim. "They mentioned manipulating your memories, making you think Mark is the enemy. And...they're involved in something illegal, Diana. Something to do with drugs."
Diana felt like she'd been punched in the gut. Her father, the man she loved and trusted, was capable of such evil? She couldn't process it.
Charles's hand on her shoulder brought her back to reality. "I'm so sorry, Diana. I had to tell you the truth."
Diana's eyes locked onto Charles's, a fierce determination burning within her. "Thank you, Charles. I need to know
the truth, no matter how hard it is."
