"Miss Diana, we're surprised to see you up this early," Camara said, eyeing her warily. "What can we do for you?"
Diana smiled sweetly. "I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for taking care of me, for being so kind and supportive."
The workers exchanged confused glances. "You're welcome, Miss Diana," Bernard said, "but is that all?"
Diana's smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure, her filled with so many requests. "Actually, I was wondering...if you could help me."
"Help you, Miss?" Emma asked, her brow furrowed.
Diana took a deep breath. "I want to leave the mansion. I need to get out of here."
The workers' eyes widened in shock. "Leave the mansion, Miss?" Charles repeated. "But...why?"
Diana's eyes darted around the room, ensuring they were alone. "I have to get away from Mark. From this place. It's suffocating me."
The workers looked at each other, unsure of what to say. They knew Mark's grip on Diana was tight, but they had never suspected she felt trapped.
"What can we do to help, Miss?" Camara asked finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
Diana's eyes locked onto Camara's. "I need a way out. A way to escape without Mark knowing. Can you help me?"
The workers exchanged nervous glances, but eventually, they nodded in unison. "We'll help you, Miss Diana," Bernard said, his voice firm.
Camara stepped forward. "We'll make sure you get out safely. But we need to be careful. Mark has eyes and ears everywhere."
Emma nodded. "I can create a diversion in the kitchen. Charles, can you disable the security cameras?"
Charles nodded. "I'll take care of it. Bernard, can you get the car ready?"
Bernard nodded. "I'll have it waiting by the back entrance."
Diana's eyes shone with gratitude. "Thank you, all of you. I won't forget this."
Camara smiled. "We're doing this for you, Miss. You deserve to be free."
The group quickly got to work, making preparations for Diana's escape. They moved quietly, knowing that one misstep could alert Mark and foil their plan.
As they worked, Diana felt a sense of hope she hadn't felt in months. She was finally taking control of her life, and she had her newfound allies to thank for it.
Thursday morning arrived, and Mark prepared for his trip to the port. He dressed in his usual attire, a crisp white shirt and dark trousers, and headed downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast.
Lillian, his secretary, was already there, sipping a cup of coffee. "Good morning, Mark. Everything is ready for the shipment today."
Mark nodded, his mind focused on the task ahead. "Good. I'll be leaving soon. Make sure everything is in order here."
Lillian nodded. "Of course, Mark. I'll take care of everything."
Mark finished his breakfast and headed out to the car, his driver waiting by the door. As they drove to the port, Mark's thoughts turned to the shipment and the potential profits it would bring.
But what he didn't know was that Larry's plan was already in motion. The police were waiting at the port, ready to pounce on Mark as soon as he arrived. And Diana's escape plan was also underway, with the workers helping her sneak out of the mansion unnoticed.
The stage was set for a dramatic confrontation, and Mark was walking right into the trap...
Mark arrived at the port, his car pulling up to the warehouse where the shipment was being stored. He stepped out of the car, followed by his guard, Frank, and two other escorts.
Frank, a burly man with a stern expression, scanned the area before nodding to Mark. "All clear, sir."
Mark nodded, his eyes fixed on the warehouse. "Let's get this over with. I want to inspect the shipment before it's loaded onto the trucks."
As they walked towards the warehouse, Mark noticed a group of police officers standing by the entrance. He frowned, wondering what they were doing there.
One of the officers, a tall, imposing figure, stepped forward. "Mark Johnson, we need to talk to you."
Mark's instincts kicked in, and he felt a surge of adrenaline. "What's this about, officer?"
The officer smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "We've had a tip about a suspicious shipment coming in today. And we believe you're involved."
Mark's eyes narrowed, his mind racing. What was going on? Who had tipped off the police?
Frank and the other escorts moved closer, forming a protective circle around Mark. "I don't know what you're talking about," Mark said, trying to sound calm.
But the officer just smiled again. "Save it, Johnson. We have evidence. And you're coming with us."
The police officers moved forward, their eyes scanning the shipment as they began to inspect it. Mark Thomas's heart was racing, his mind trying to think of a way out of this situation.
One of the officers, a young woman with a keen eye, stopped in front of a container. "Wait a minute," she said, her voice firm. "This one looks suspicious."
The other officers gathered around her, and they began to open the container. Mark's heart sank as they lifted out a small bag filled with white powder.
"What's this?" the officer asked, her voice firm.
Mark shook his head, trying to feign innocence. "I don't know what you're talking about."
But the officer just smiled. "Don't play dumb, Mark. We know what this is. Cocaine."
The officers began to search the rest of the shipment, finding more bags of cocaine hidden among the containers. Mark's eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling with the implications.
Frank and the other escorts moved forward, trying to protect Mark, but the officers were too strong. They pushed them aside and handcuffed Mark, reading him his rights as they led him away.
"You're under arrest, Mark Thomas," the officer said, her voice firm. "For drug trafficking."
As Mark was dragged away, he realized his world was crumbling around him. He had been set up, and now he was facing serious charges. His mind raced with thoughts of Diana, and how he would protect her from this mess. But for now, he was at the mercy of the law...
Frank rushed home, his heart racing with the news. He burst through the door, finding Diana and the others in the living room.
"What's wrong, Frank?" Diana asked, seeing the look on his face.
Frank took a deep breath. "It's Mark. He's been arrested."
Diana's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why?"
Frank hesitated before speaking. "Drug trafficking. The police found cocaine in the shipment."
The room fell silent, with everyone digesting the news. Diana looked like she had been punched in the gut.
"No," she whispered. "It can't be."
Camara, was shocked to hear before she spoke up. "But Mark would never do something like that."
Frank shook his head. "I know. That's why I think he's been set up."
Diana's eyes narrowed. "By who?"
Frank hesitated again. "I don't know, but we need to find out. We need to clear Mark's name."
The others nodded in agreement, determination etched on their faces. They knew they had to act fast to save Mark from this mess...
