Mrs Mantinda was busy on her phone when the door opened and Mandy walked in.... Gina was behind her as Mandy beams with smiles
Mrs Mantinda slowly lowered as phone as Mandy scooped besides her, giving her a warm hug.... Gina stood with Mandy's stuff in her hands
Mrs Mantinda slowly released herself from Mandy's grip as she looks at her inquiringly
"Mom, I just flew all the way from Spain to this place.....it was hectic and I'm so tired" Mandy said and Mrs Mantinda raised her eyebrows at once
"And why are you here?, you just can't come into my mansion without telling ahead of time" Mrs Mantinda scolded and Mandy sighs
"It was an emergency journey.....I didn't know I would come quickly....I would have told you" Mandy pouted but Mrs Mantinda doesn't seem to buy it
"I'm sorry but you can't stay here" Mrs Mantinda said and Mandy smiles vanished as Gina also stood confused
"And why mother, you don't want me to stay in your house?" Mandy asked and Mrs Mantinda rolled her eyes
"You should have prepared yourself before coming, I can't let you stay here" Mrs Mantinda insisted and Mandy slowly stood up
"Why can't I stay here?.... there's got to be a reason" Mandy inquired as she looks at Gina and back at Mrs Mantinda
"Because you can't, look....I can fix you up with some good angents and you will get a house in thirty minutes.....but I just can't let you stay with me" Mrs Mantinda said and Mandy chuckled while brushing her hair with her long fingers backwards
"You are not making any sense..... your daughter in law to be is in your house and you can't even welcome her properly... that's not fair!" Mandy suddenly snapped and Mrs Mantinda shut her eyes.... trying to suppress her building anger
"Daughter in-law?, Mandy I know I said you were going to get married to Jayson but things changed and now he's married and you shouldn't be here.... that's the reason why I said you can't stay here because I won't sit back and watch you stress the newly wedded bride in my house!" Mrs Mantinda snapped hotly and Gina wanted to interfere but Mrs Mantinda held her hand up.... shutting her immediately
"So you are saying I should go back!?, You fúcking stabbed me in the back and now you are yelling at me!?" Mandy fires and Mrs Mantinda tilted her head backwards in shock
Mandy blinked repeatedly immediately she realized what she did and calmed down a little.....she rubbed her forehead as she tries to get herself under control
Mrs Mantinda slowly stood up with a surprise look on her face as she Mandy tried to defend herself but Mrs Mantinda wasn't ready to listen
"Get out, I don't want to see you here again" Mrs Mantinda said with all seriousness as Mandy's jaw dropped
"But mother, this isn't fair!" Gina bursted and Mrs Mantinda shot her a glare.... Gina looks away with an angry gesture
"Are you seriously asking me to leave?" Mandy asked in shock as she couldn't believe her ears
"Get....outtttttt" Mrs Mantinda said.... stressing the on the last word as she walked away in anger
It took Mandy a while to realize that her supposed mother inlaw just chased her out
"Gina.....text me the address of Jayson's new house..... immediately" Mandy said with grethed teeth as she stared at Mrs Mantinda's retreating figure
"On it...." Gina trails as she brought out her phone

🌹Jasmine's Pov 🌹
*Why is everything around here so boring?*
I thought as I scrolled through the TV and there's absolutely nothing interesting to watch.....I yawned as I stretched my hands in the remaining vinegar chips Mika forcefully took from me
Now I'm missing her badly and I'm bored to death
I groaned loudly as I tossed the remote control aside... hugging myself as I looked at the current channel that might turn out interesting
The sounds of feet climbing down the stairs made me turn as Jayson was cladded in a suit.....he looks so professional.....if I hadn't known him before, I wouldn't believe he's a chronic womanizer
He simply head for the door and I stood up immediately
"Woah, woah, woah..... where are you going to in haste?" I blurted out and he stopped.... facing me
"As you can see, I'm going out" he said brashly and I folded my hands.... sticking them together under my boóbs as I stared at him questioningly
"Well, doesn't the place have a name? Huh?" I demanded and he took in deep breaths before responding
"I got a call from Noah that a very important business associate wants to meet up with me for future plans, does that answer your question?" He retorted and I pouted my lips..... making it form a thin line
"So, you are going to leave me all alone in this big mansion?" I questioned with a sad tone and he raised an eyebrow
"We've been in this house since morning and we haven't talked to each other.... what's the difference?" He asked looking slightly confused, I'm stressing him and he knows it
"Well, there's a difference because I know there's someone with me" I said and he groans as I chuckled inwardly..... loving the way I get on his nerves without even trying hard
"I won't stay out long.....I will be back before you know it" he said hoping I would drop it
"You are lying" I blurted out like a clingy girlfriend and he rubs his forehead
"I'm not lying and I'm seriously running late, can I go now?" He asked and I smile at myself
"You sure you are gonna come back early?" I asked.... wondering where all these are coming from
"I'm going to come back early..... that's for sure" he said and made to open the door but my whining made he stopped
"Before you go, can I at least get a hug?" I said..... pouting my lips cutely and he almost chuckled but I clearly saw him hiding it
"Seriously?" He asked and I nod
"Just one hug.... Jay... pretty please" I said in a baby voice and he ruffled his hair trying to suppress the smile that's about to spread on his face...I pulled my hands forward, wriggling it in a hugging gesture
"Fine..... just one hug" he said and I smiled brightly..... dragging myself towards him as I melted in his arms
I felt both hands around me, hugging me back.....I almost choked in surprise
He hugged me back?, Seriously?
"Okay, time up.... that's enough" he said as he pulled away from me and I smiled sheepishly
"See you later" I said turning away as I heard him shut the door
He may pretend not to want me around him now?, but it wouldn't take long before I win him over and I'm seriously working on that
The wasn't part of my plan though, I just really needed a hug
Yeah, yeah.... it's suiting and comfortable but it doesn't mean anything.....I still hate his guts
I sighed deeply and focused on the TV went the door bell rang
I paused for a moment, wondering if it's Jayson
I'm not sure because if it were him, he would just walk in and not ring the doorbell
I shrugged my shoulders as I continued watching the program and the doorbell rang again
"Kill joy!" I groaned as I forced myself and walked towards the door...I opened it with an irritating look on my face and I titled my head backwards
It's a girl..... she's putting on a strapped crop top and a baggy jean..... topping it with boots and a had two big clothe carriers
She slowly took of her glasses as she stared down at me before looking around
"Is Jayson home?" She asked and I frowned instantly
Is she one of those cheap whóres that throws their selves all over Jayson
"Are you lost?" I asked as I placed both hands on my waist...I was putting on a sweatshirt and it stopped right before my knee
"You are the one who should get lost..... because you are in my space" she said brashly and she shoved me out of the way..... walking inside
I wasn't angry before but now this bîtch just crossed the line
"Excuse you?, Who are you and what her you doing in my house!?" I snapped and she turned around sharply
"My Mandy.... and I'm Jayson's finacee..... you are just a street rat warming up my space and now that I'm here... you are no longer needed" Mandy said and Jasmine chuckles in a mocking smirk
"Well, I'm Jayson's wife.....we are married and look at my finger" I said..... stretching my hands towards her face..... almost shoving it in her eyes " I'm the one with the ring and wedded vows....so get lost!" I fired and she suddenly furrowed her eyes
She started walking towards me.... looking at me directly as if she wants to penetrate my soul
I backed up a little as I created a safe distance between us
"Do I know you before?" She suddenly asked and I raised an eyebrow
"You don't know me..... and you also shouldn't be here so leave" I said and she clicked her tongue
"Jasmine?, wait..... you are not dead?" she suddenly asked in shock and my eyes widened
Who's the freak show?, was I supposed to be dead?
"Are you nuts?..... I'm not dead and I definitely not the Jasmine you are referring to.....there are like a billion Jasmine's out there so go look for the one who's supposed to be dead!!!" I snapped as I grabbed her hands and hollered her out of the door
"I want to see Jayson!" She snapped as she struggled with me but I was stronger..... obviously
"Jayson isn't home.....did you escape from the mental asylum!?...get out!" I fired and she stopped struggling
"You don't have the right to chase me out!" She snapped and I pushed her out as she staggered... almost falling down on the porch
"You haven't changed a bit!..... still as stupid as ever, God!, I hate you!" She yells angrily and I shut the door
I held my chest tighly as I breathe out heavily
What's she talking about?
Do I know her?, does she know me?
"I haven't changed a bit?" I muttered silently as I sat down..... trying to fathom what she said
From the way she sounds, it looks like she knows me.... more than I know myself
That's not possible right?
"Just breathe Jasmine, she's just spewing nonsense" I said in a hush voice..... resting my head on the couch
"Jasmine?...wait, you are not dead?" Her stupid statement rings in my head and I groaned loudly..... using the cushion to cover my face
I slowly sat up as an intriguing thought crossed my mind
Why don't I remember anything from when I was below six years?....the only I remember was waking up in the hospital and seeing my parents lying almost lifeless besides me
I wouldn't have even remembered my name if my mom hadn't called me weakly before she died
I sighed as I sinked both fingers in my thick brown locks
I suddenly felt a sharp pain and I held my head
"My pills...damn" I muttered as I rested on the couch fully
This pain usually comes each time I over think or try to remember something from the past
"I need to talk to her, she obviously knows something about me that I don't" I said thoughtfully
"Or maybe she's mistaken me from someone else" I said again
Why do I even care?, She just barged in here and started claiming Jayson... she's obviously mad, no doubt

Mika flipped the sign and they were officially closed for the day
She smiles as she walked towards the counter to grab her bag when Roland snatched it
She looks at him dauntingly as she made to take it from him but he wouldn't let her
"Give me my bag" she said calmly..... trying not to yell
"Will you tell me why you've been avoiding me all day?" he asked with a smirk and she gulped down
She can't possibly tell him it's because of that witch.....no way
"I don't know what you are talking about" she mumbles and he hummed..... standing up as he also took his phone and walked up to her
"You suddenly didn't want to talk to me throughout today and now you are denying it?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and she snatched her bag away from him
glaring at him before walking towards the door
"Won't you wait for me?, I want us to go home together" he said as he tries to catch up with her and she sharply turned around.... causing them to bump into each other because he was already close to her
Her lips hit his chin hard and she whined in pain... touching her bottom lip as he turned red instantly
"I'm sorry" he said and she rolled her eyes
"Why are you bothering me?, I thought we were just colleagues?" She finally said and he almost chuckled at her outburst
"Seriously?, You are angry because of that?" he said and she glared at him.... ignoring his question
"The only reason I said that was because if I had called you my friend, you would have definitely said we weren't friends...you are always used to being mean to me and I figured I should respect that" he said and she slowly looks at him
Was she really that mean to him?
"But still.... you should have" she stutters with a loud groan escaping her mouth "fùck you for being right on this one" she said defeatdly as she covers her face...he simply smiled as he took her hand
"Come on let's go home....I can't believe you are mad at something you would have done, if I had said you were my friend you would have been like......."yeah, he's not really my friend" and then walked away" he said mimicking her and she hits him playfully
"I don't talk like that" she said and he laughs
"Yeah, you do" he teased and they started laughing

🌹Jayson's Pov 🌹
I walked in and prayed inwardly for Jasmine to be in her room...well it's our room and I can't sleep in the same space with her
I don't know why but I won't do it
I shut the door quietly and checked the time...it was 10 past midnight and I assured her that I will come home early...I really got busy and lost track of time
The TV was on and I frowned..... walking towards it as I turned it off.....I spuned around and saw Jasmine sleeping soundly on the couch
"Did she wait up for me till she fell asleep?" I said almost audibly, walking towards her as I bend a little
Her soft breaths making her whole body heave up and down slowly as a beautiful smile was plastered on her face, what's she dreaming about that makes her happy in her sleep?
I subconsciously found myself staring at her longer than usual, I just can't get over her beauty... she's too beautiful to stay mad at
I caressed her hair....it was soft.... just like her tender lips...but the only difference is hair
My mind drifted off to our little moment in the kitchen and I just can't help but think about it.....I wanted more and had it been that the doorbell didn't interupted us.....I would have gone farther than that
I sighed as I gently carried her in bridal style...she made a cute funny sound as she snuggled into my arms.... that's kinda cute
I smiled without realizing it as I took her upstairs..... placing her on the bed as I covered her with the duvet
She didn't move a bit....I guess she's a deep sleeper
I looked at her one more time before shutting the door behind and left for my study room

Mika hurriedly walked in as she was breathing heavily..... it's almost nine in the morning and she over slept
"Sleepy head, you are late" Roland said and she rolled her eyes..... Jasper was standing close to the kitchen and she didn't bother to talk to him because they don't talk to each other
"I know that dîckhead... don't make fun of me" she said as she walked towards the counter..... she's in charge of the financial affairs
Roland simply smiled as the door opened and Avia walked in... maintaining her professional look as always
"You are late Mika, I literally saw you running through the hallway" Avia said and Mika cursed inwardly as she tucks her hair behind her ears
She hates been caught in the act
"I'm sorry" she mutters as she looks away and Avia rolled her eyes
"You should be..... anyways I've got good news...so since we no longer have a cook.....I found someone and she's more than willing to take over" Avia said and they all looked at her
"Really?" Roland asked as his eyes lit up
"That will be fabulous" Jasper said and they all faced him... obviously they were surprised that he said something....he hardly talks
"What are you all looking at?" He asked as he rolled his eyes and everyone faced front
"Anyways.... since Jasmine suddenly got married to a billionaire..... something that she's not worthy of...I found someone else and she will start working today" Avia said Mika glared at her for mentioning Jasmine
"Let's see her" Roland said excitedly and Avia smiles
"You will definitely... come on in!" She yells and the door opened slowly revealing the new cook as Roland eyes widened
Mika almost screamed as she stood in shock... looking at their supposed new cook.
"What in the hell's name is going on?" Mika muttered as Avia stared at her shocked face..... smiling with a glimpse of mockery in her eyes
