Lorenzo was really exhausted. He just wanted to take a long break but he couldn't, not until he received news that the rescued men had arrived at their destinations safely.
It has been a reckless night yesterday, and he had injuries as souvenirs, including 5 men dead plus 12 scarred with burn wounds. He grunted as he dressed the deep cut on his left arm.
What frustrated him was how it seemed like someone was watching his every move and thwarting it, so he had ordered for the sudden attack which the scoundrels hadn't counted on.
Beside him, his phone buzzed with an incoming call.
"Yes Bruno" he responded after picking the call.
"Everyone has gotten to their destination without a hitch Boss"
"Good...setup a brief ceremony for the dead, and make sure the injured receive proper care"
"Yes sir..." Bruno paused, "One more thing sir"
"Go ahead"
