Having made my mind up I cocked the arrow back as hard as I could and let the arrow fly into the cave and a moment after watching the arrow soar through the air and hit the bear square into it necks it awoke.

"*ROAAAAAAAR!!*"

It roared at the sudden stimulation of pain and thrashed around in probable pain, I frowned at how easily my arrow pierced through the things skin.

I would have thought that it's hide would be harder.

So grabbing another arrow just before I pulled it on the arrow I looked it over with appraisal first.

[—Item: Stormsound Steel-Tipped Arrow.

—Rank: B+

—Description: An arrow meticulously made by a dwarven blacksmith, imbued with arcanic power through rituals.]

[—Appraisal Leveled Up]

' Huh...oh damn the arrow is B+ ranked, no wonder it met no resistance.' I thought frowning before using [Appraisal] on the arrow again to see whether anything new would show, with the level up i thought maybe some new additions would show.

[—Item: Stormsound Steel-Tipped Arrow.

—Type: Ammunition.

—Rank: B+

—Description: An arrow meticulously made by a dwarven blacksmith and ritualistic enchant bearer, imbued with arcanic powers over storms.

—Effect 1: Imbuement– When the arrow is imbued and fed energy its capabilities are further enhanced causing more piercing damage, cause internal bleeding damage and paralysis effects.

—Effect 2:???

—Effect 3: ???]

'.....what's the point of showing me there's even more effects if you won't fucking show me the shit!' Was my thought process before it was broken by the bear that had realised that I was the cause of its pain.

It charged at me with shocking speed causing me to sideroll to the right as I let the arrow free and into its rib area, it went deep and I saw the bear almost buckle down.

And it let out the mother of all roars.

" *ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!* " And it's head whipped right into my direction.

' Yeah fuck that!' Was my thought process finally staring at the things face, it had 6 eyes, 3 on each side of its skull and had rows of sharp teeth everywhere in it's mouth.

I pulled out another arrow and pointed while running backwards as I decided to see whether I could trigger the first effect of the arrow.

I delved deep into that place where I felt my energy pool in and grew from it quickly before leading it right into my right hand and into the arrow, the arrow suddenly gained crisscross lines all over it leading to the tip and I unleashed it.

The arrow flew and fucking maneuvered itself in the air, it flew right into the bears eye and out before the arrow flew back to my quiver.

" Huh?....." Was my unintelligent reaction to that.

The bear which had managed to turn and charge at me simply buckled down and lay there as brain matter and blood oozed out of its punctured orifices.

' That was probably one of the effects....' I thought with a frown before it was replaced by suprise.

" Huh?"

Groaning as I pulled at the huge ass bear towards camp I groaned already wanting to take care of my levels, stat points and skill points already.

The reward granted by the Hidden Mission I'd immediately use as soon as I get to camp, I was a bit surprised at it not gonna lie.

I didn't know that my system had a Quest or Mission function, I mean sure it may probably only just be Hidden Missions but still, that would be useful.

With this I could get out of universe items, skills and the such which would increase my effectiveness in defending and getting the 100 up to my needed prowess.

Aside from that my mind was also a bit disturbed at the description of the hidden mission and it meant for us, for me.

I was definitely not in the vanilla 100 Series world, I had been suspecting that for a while now.

One thing that had made me suspicious was the animals, in canon Clarke and the others on the first day saw a deer with a mutated head thus growing a second disfigured one on the side of its head.

In this world that wasn't so, the animals were mutated yes but not disfigured, the deer in this world has two independent heads each complete with a brain and a side of the body they control, I knew this because I had butchered and analysed one of them.

I had taken that as simply me being in a real world representation of the series world without there being a budget for CGI as everything would be real but it seems that I was wrong.

It seemed that not only were the grounders stronger, faster and probably more skilled in combat having been raised to it and this not being real life but also the animals two would be out to get us.

' Oh well, this just cements my need to train my people even further, I'll need every abled body to protect my rule and everything that I care for.' At that thought a mental picture of a sleeping Octavia assaulted my head making me frown.

' It seems that I've gotten a bit attached to the girl...' I thought not liking that, it was a dangerous place to feel attachment for somebody but I didn't hate the feeling.

Octavia was an extraordinary girl after all, and I knew if she fell for me then she'd do almost anything for me and right now that seemed like the best option to steer towards.

And with that my thoughts delved further into what I'd need the camp into being in the next few days and what I could improve.
