After raven relented I breathed in as my mind went through hyperdrive creating a fucking lie good enough and solid enough but I could cheat this, I had supernatural capabilities after all and could hide behind them without actually revealing them.
" So when Octavia had gone with Clarke and the others trying to get to Mount Weather I had stumbled upon something." I told them.
" I stumbled upon a ruined town, the same town where I had found the military aid depot but I hadn't seen it back then but I did find these weopons I currently am geared up in." I told them also bringing my gear into this story, they would have asked about it at some point so I might as well cover up for them too.
" Luckily they were within an airtight container so they didn't get damaged through time, but after I found these things I also found something else....a tree." I told them making them frown.
" A tree?..." Asked Octavia seemingly unsure of where my story was even going.
" Stop beating around the bush, what does a tree have any relation to this?" Asked raven sighing looking at me as if wishing to strangle me for some reason.
" The tree wasn't normal, I found it inside this almost underground house store that had been submerged." I told them and I could swear Raven was about ready to jump me from how I kept stalling.
Octavia chuckled seeing Ravens expression but didn't say anything.
" Okay, okay, the tree had these small glowing fruits, I ate a dozen of them and ate a bunch of more while walking back into camp and then the next day I found out that I had become stronger, faster and tougher and even smarter too." I told them my masterfully crafted lie.
" A tree gave you super strength and speed is what you're telling me here Ezekiel?" Raven asked looking at me as if saying ' Are you seriously expecting me to believe that?'.
" Hey, I think that you should broaden your mind a bit down here, I mean we have people that survived a fucking nuclear apocalypse and are now killing us since we have been down here and behemoths of animals with extra limbs and strength, what's so unbelievable about a fruit that makes people stronger?" I asked her playing nonchalant to her not believing me.
" Fine then, I want to see it for myself then." She said with an eye roll.
Looking back at Octavia I saw that she seemed to believe me, that made me like her even more not gonna lie.
" Tommorow, when we go there for the weopons." I told her.
" Why not today, wouldn't weopons give us an edge if grounders decide to attack us?" She asked looking at me curiously.
" Be that as it may, I want to start the mandatory training first and maybe finish my forge." I told her.
" Oh so that's what that thing you're building is, wait you can Smith?" She asked wide-eyed.
" I know the theory behind it, all that's left is to practice and we might have better weopons and maybe armor by the end of the week." I told her making her look at me baffled.
" You're becoming more and more weird you know that right Ezekiel?" She said staring at me with a small smile on her face before turning and walking away.
Shaking my head I focused on octavia as she looked at me dreamily.
" So you believe me?" I asked wanting to be sure whether I wasn't just fooling myself in thinking she did.
" Huh? Of course I do, you have no reason to lie to us...to me, plus why wouldn't I believe the person that has been keeping us alive in this place." She said making me unconsciously smile.
" I haven't done anything though, just telling people what to do." I told her snaking my hands around her waist pulling her in so she was looking up at me now, it was then that I finally noticed that I was tall.
" Oh please, you've trained us to fight if we ever need to, you've taught us how to heal and treat ourselves in case of injury out there and you've taught others how to cook, tan hide, butcher and a whole other things." She said placing a hand on my cheek.
" You've brought us together before we could delve in chaos and we probably would have started killing each other right about now." She said with a smile." You've done a lot for us Mr Sinclair and I appreciate that." And with that she went on her toes and placed her supple lips on mine as we started making out.
We kissed for minutes as we hungrily lapped at both our lips with no care but after after 10 minutes she broke the kiss looking flustered and breathing just a bit harder.
" I...have to go." She muttered softly and I simply gave her a peck and then a tight squeeze of her ass which had her yelping before letting her go.
She ran off into the dropship smiling like a teenage girl inlove, which too be honest wasn't that far off.
Smiling at that little 'altercation' I stared into the bushes that hadn't been cut yet and smiled.
" Come out charllote." I said casually and smiled as a grinning charlotte walked out of the bushes.
" I almost had you this time." She said almost proud of herself, her smile almost infectious.
" Yeah right, you only got so close because I was 'busy'." I told her with a smirk before throwing at her one of my knives but while at it I used [Appraisal] on it.
[—Item: Windbreaker Throwing Knives.
—Type: Throwing Knife.
—Rank: B+
—Description: A 30 Set of knives crafted by a master assassin after a long stealth mission given to him by his master, he has put his passion and commitment into each and everyone of the 30 knives which is a commemoration to his fallen 30 brothers who fell on that mission.
—Effect 1: Passive Stealth– When holding one of these knives while sneaking around you gain a 25% stealth increase.
—Effect 2: ???
—Effect 3: ???]
' Those...I might have to give some others of my hunter team these.' I thought and since this was a passive effect it wouldn't need a single point of energy which they didn't have anyway.
' If only I could find out more about hidden effects though.
" But since you've technically sneaked behind me and were close enough, that knife is yours." I told the girl who held my knife in her hand with a huge smile on her face.
You'd swear that you weren't looking at a dangerous girl while staring at those cute beady eyes of hers.
Charllote has become better ever since I took her under my wing, I've been teaching her assassination tactics and she's excelling at them greatly might I add and I had given her a task to try to sneak behind me when she can and this was what that was.
