Gio ran over to Miguel's body on the ground he knelt beside him, checking his pulse and hoping he was still alive.
Miguel's car was destroyed on the side of the road, the fire blazing hot.
He could already hear the siren of the ambulance from far away and was relieved as he tried to wake Miguel up.
His car a few rides back, instantly exploded. He turned back watching as his car went up in flames.
They had been set up and someone had put a bomb in their car when they were searching Carla's house.
Miguel wasn't responding but his pulse was steady as the ambulance parked a few feet from them.
The medical personnel ran out of the back door of the ambulance, running towards them with a stretcher.
