Gio took a deep breath as he looked at Miguel, his friend's face still twisted with rage and grief.
"Yes Miguel. The boys found Carla's body at the bottom of the cliff near the river. Her body is currently at the warehouse. I haven't disposed of it yet because I want to hear from you." Gio uttered.
"It is quite good that she's dead. But then, it would have been much better if she died in my hands. I'd love to see her dead body. After that, we'd find a way to get rid of Rodriguez." Miguel said, staring intently at his desk.
Gio's stomach turned at the coldness in Miguel's voice, his words sending a chill down his spine.
"Miguel, we can't just get rid of Rodriguez like that," he protested. "You know how powerful he is, and he'll have his own people looking for Carla's body. We need to be careful."
