Joanna stood up from the ground in confusion as she stared at the woman in all black. She had a black hoodie on, covering her face with the hood.
Gio pulled her off the floor roughly, his eyes filled with anger. Before Joanna could ask him who she was, he spat out the words.
"She's the woman who planted the bomb in Miguel's car." His teeth were gritted together, his veins popping out of his skin in anger.
Joanna's eyes widened as Carla faced her, her eyes filled with determination as the syringe dropped from her hand.
Joanna heard the clattering of the syringe as it hit the floor and quickly picked it up.
She frowned as she inspected it, her eyes slowly widened in the realisation of what could have happened.
She quickly moved to Miguel's body lying still on the bed as she inspected his arm for any tracks.
"What did you do to him?" She asked Carla, her eyes filled with urgency.
