Margo went upstairs to the office to find the door open, and Cora sat in the receptionist's chair leaning back and her legs swinging back and forth. She obviously hadn't heard Margo come in.
"Mon chaton," Margo smirked walking over to her. Cora sat up abruptly then jumped up quickly. She teetered sideways and Margo caught her helping to steady her.
"I checked my office. It's not in there and your office is locked." Cora felt a little breathless.
"I know. Come help me search my office. The file must be in there, but I can't find it." Margo kept a hold of Cora pulling her with her.
Margo's instincts were screaming right now, and Margo was trying to deal with them without creating major fallout. On top of the instincts, Margo just really wanted her mate.
