Cora noticed that Antione appeared to relax as soon as the elevator doors closed behind them. Antione set down the bags and entered the code on the panel. She had always been good at memory games and since this was twice, he hadn't bothered to hide the keypad; Cora now knew the six digit code for the elevator. Antione hit the button for her floor, and they were off. He leaned against the rail and looked her over like he was considering something.
When they reached Cora's floor, he picked up her shopping bags and started toward her apartment and she followed fishing out her key-card. Once they were inside, Antione set Cora's bags on the dining room table. Cora set her purse down next to the bags and noted the time. She still had two hours until her order arrived.
"Do you have an appointment?" Antione asked walking into the living room and taking a seat in an overstuffed chair.
Cora followed him sitting on the sofa. "No, but I have a grocery order coming at six."
