Cora waited around for her grocery order while putting things away and sorting her laundry. She had moved several loads to the laundry room, set a bag of nicer items for the cleaners with the form in the hall, and tossed a bunch of things too dingy to salvage. The camp had been filthy, and many items were just too stained or had holes in them to try to keep. Cora would get new clothes. She wasn't concerned about it.
Cora was really happy to have a proper place for what few things she still had and was enjoying putting things away. Being able to stop living out of suitcases had the brightest spot to her day so far. It had been a strange day with the whole Jared debacle but now that was over with, she felt like she was making progress on starting a life here.
