Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 Spirit Boar.

When He sew the girls in that state he figured out what had happened and their haste in coming over was indicating that whatever injured Mia was chasing them.

A moment later he saw the enemy and it turned out to be a spirit boar.

The wounds on its body and a bone knife in its hind leg showed that it wasn't just a one sided fight and Mia gave it a run for its money.

This also explained why they managed to escape as the beast wasn't able to chase them down with a knife stuck in its leg.

The Boar was enraged and on the verge of going berserk which meant that there was only one solution,It had to die or it would kill them all.

From Paul's perspective this was the worst time possible for them to encounter a spirit beast as he was still low on mana and his Qi cultivation could at most strengthen his weapons a bit.

Right now he had no time to hesitate as if the oversized pig went berserk it would be able to ignore pain and kill the girls before he could do anything.

Paul took out all his weapons from the storage space and cast a fireball at the bore to distract it from the sisters.

The attack connected and the beast roared from the pain even though this was a small fireball,it managed to burn some hair on the pig's body and burnt its skin.

When the beast found the source of the attack it quickly changed its target as Paul was a much more dangerous opponent then the girls that were fleeing from it so he had to be eliminated first.

Paul had a plan to deal with this pig and it was working so far as the first step was to make the enemy turn its attention to him.

He prepared another fireball and launched it at the boar but it dodged the attack and charged at him wanting to rip him to pieces.

This was what Paul wanted and to make sure that the beast would stay focused on him he threw some of his sharp stone discs after infusing them with his Qi.

Out of five of the projectiles three found their mark leaving shallow cuts on the pig's head and body.

This enraged the pig to the fullest and it finally went berserk, ignoring the pain of its wounds it charged with full speed disregarding any obstacles in its way.

Paul was waiting for this moment as the moment that the boar was in berserk mode it wasn't going to stop no matter what unless it was dead.

When the beast charged at him he quickly lifted two spears with bone tips that he made using the spirit blood rabbits bones.

Pail stuck the spears other ends into the ground and pointed their blades straight at an incoming boar.

The plan worked and the boar impaled itself on the spears and one of them had reached its heart.

However this couldn't stop the momentum of its attack and Paul was tossed into air by the impact, landing with a thud a moment later.

This was a fortunate thing for him as the boar was still alive for quite a while even with its heart pierced.

If he wasn't thrown by the impact then he would surely be injured and possibly even dead.

Right now he was sure that he had some bruises and contusions but that wasn't anything life threatening.

Paul left the boar to die and started crawling to the girls as Mia was sitting under a tree and wasn't looking so good.

She had multiple wounds inflicted by the boar's tusks but only one of them was serious as it was a deep wound on her left thigh.

The rest of her injuries were shallow and were not life threatening but this one could make her bleed out if he didn't do anything about it.

He immediately took a piece of paracord and turned it into a tourniquet to stop the bleeding and buy himself some time.

Mia yelled from the pain when he had tightened the tourniquet cutting her blood flow into her left leg.

Paul was thinking about his options as he had very little mana left after firing those two fireballs and there was no way that he had enough to use a healing spell.

-Maya you will have to channel all your mana into me.

He said to the younger girl as this was the only option right now, other than for him to replenish his mana by cultivation but that would take too long.

The girl nodded.

-What do I have to do, master?

She asked with determination in her voice as she was worried about her sister.

-Instead of channeling the mana to your mana pool like usual, you have to take it out of the mana pool and direct it into your hands and send it to me.

That way I will absorb it and will be able to cast a healing spell on Mia.

He instructed her.

Paul held her hands and they began the transfer.

Maya quickly ran out of mana as she was only level 16 but what she had was more than enough.

Paul Quickly absorbed the mana and a moment later he used it to cast a healing spell.

The wounds on Mia's body started to close and the big wound on her tight was healing very fast.

Unfortunately it wasn't able to be healed completely but it was no longer life threatening.

Paul collapsed next to Mia as he had used all the mana that Maya had given him and the last of his own to treat the girl and he was exhausted right now.

However there were still things to do so he fought away the urge to fall asleep and started crawling to the boar which was already dead at this time.

The beast was massive and Paul just now noticed that it was the size of a cow.

When he was fighting it he just saw an opponent that had to die or his girls would be dead,so he wasn't even considering its size.

When he got to it he removed Mia's knife from its leg and tried to take out the spears but they were broken now and to remove them he would have to cut this thing open.

As he had no energy left to do so he just absorbed the remnants of life energy it still had and then stored it into his storage space.

He would deal with it later, for now his priority was to get Mia into the shelter to let her rest and to get some sleep himself as he needed it badly right now.

Maya and Mia had just enough energy left to get into the shelter before they both collapsed onto a grass bed and fell asleep right the next moment.

Paul got there a little later and removed the tourniquet from Mia's leg and thankfully it didn't bleed again.

He would have to cultivate mana again when he got up to heal the girl completely but for now he only managed to drag his battered body into the shelter before he joined the ladies in the dream land.

When he woke up it was already dark outside so he realized that they had been sleeping through the whole day and both ladies were still in a deep sleep.

He decided to let them sleep as they had an eventful day and left the shelter to get some food ready.

After the meal he started to cultivate mana again as he would need it to heal Mia and even though it recovered by quite a lot when he was sleeping it was far from enough especially if he also wanted to heal himself from his paralysis and the injuries that he had received when the boar tackled him.
