"Seems like you're still sentimental as usual, which is why you're causing a stir after losing your lover. I'll tell you that something interesting has been happening recently, and it's because of my brother Zeus."
"What's that?"
"Zeus and all the other gods have agreed to release demons to Earth and start the Ragnarok catastrophe. However, it's interesting that Buddha, a god close to humans, opposed this. Consequently, humanity was given the chance to fight the demons and face Ragnarok."
Hades then told the nameless god everything about the recent meeting of the gods convened by the highest god, Zeus, from the decision that the Ragnarok catastrophe would soon begin, to the decision that all gods, without exception, must choose their successors on Earth so that humanity could survive the war against the demons in the Ragnarok catastrophe.
The nameless god listened emotionally to the events recently recounted by Hades.
Earth was once the place where the nameless god lived, and he still had many memories there, even though now there might be no loved ones left on Earth.
Anyway, he had long become a god and no longer cared about earthly matters.
"Interesting, isn't it?"
"What's interesting? This is just a delay in humanity's extinction!!"
The nameless god felt inexplicably angry about the situation, where the gods treated the lives of millions, even billions, of humans as trivial and insignificant. After all, Earth was the home and residence of the nameless god before he became what he was now.
Seeing that the nameless god seemed angry about the situation, Hades grinned, something he had predicted.
"Do you want to make a deal with me, nameless god?"
"What deal?"
"You are now in a dying state, and there are many out there targeting you. Instead of dying in vain, it would be better if you..."
"Alright, I agree to your deal."
"Hahaha... A very good decision, nameless god."
Hades, who had predicted that the nameless god would be angry with the gods' actions, then made a deal with him.
The nameless god agreed to the deal offered by Hades without much thought, a deal that could potentially change the future of the world.
Hades then left the prison cell after successfully making the deal with the nameless god, leaving him alone in the cell.
The deal Hades made with the nameless god was something only they knew, and what deal they had made remained a secret from everyone else.
Time passed, and it was now time to release the demons to Earth and start the Ragnarok catastrophe. The demons released to Earth would do so gradually, starting from the weakest demons to the strongest, according to the agreement made by all the gods.
Most of the gods had already chosen the candidates who would be their successors on Earth.
Ares was then seen seeking his father Zeus's approval to begin releasing the demons to Earth, as the Ragnarok catastrophe was about to start.
Zeus granted Ares permission to start the Ragnarok catastrophe. With his father Zeus's approval, which had been agreed upon by all the gods, Ares then went to the underworld.
Ares went to the underworld to inform his uncle Hades, who ruled the underworld and hell, to start opening access to Earth for the demons gradually.
With the approval of all the gods, Hades, as one of the highest gods ruling the underworld, could not refuse the agreement made by all the gods to open access for demons to Earth.
Hades then immediately ordered one of his guards to open access to Earth for the lower-level demons first, which would gradually be followed by higher-level demons according to the agreement and approval of all the gods.
"Hahaha, I think I won't get bored for a while until my next plan is ready."
Hades then laughed happily; this was perhaps a welcome diversion for him after such a long period of boredom.
.....
On Earth, the situation is chaotic and terrifying, with the human population reaching 17 billion at present. Famine has spread to every country in the world.
Murders, thefts, and even rapes have become rampant on the streets and are now commonplace. Law enforcement only functions under certain circumstances and cannot handle general societal issues; they mainly serve as protectors for wealthy families.
Many countries have collapsed as a result, and now only 5 nations remain, formed from the merging of several countries to manage the excessive population.
These 5 nations are the Eastern Union, Western Union, Southern Union, Northern Union, and Central Union.
Countries around the world are not only dealing with the overwhelming population crisis and numerous legal violations but also with the destruction of resources due to excessive exploitation by a few individuals, and much of the farmland is now unusable, worsening the current situation.
In the Southern Union, in a city called Seth, which is the capital of the Southern Union, a young man sits on a sidewalk usually meant for pedestrians, resting on a piece of old newspaper.
The young man appears as a beggar, with dirt and grime covering his body, making him unpleasant to look at.
He holds a large stainless steel cup in his hand and extends it to the street, asking for money and sympathy from passersby. Such scenes are common in society now, and he is not the only one begging for survival along this road.
Another young man then appears and gives something to the beggar.
"Here, take this. It should be enough for your meal today."
The beggar looks up at the person who has given him money and realizes he recognizes the giver.
"Fengyan, is that you?"
"So you still remember me, Bravo. Why have you become a beggar? Wasn't your family well-off?"
The young man who gave the money is Fengyan, Bravo's childhood friend.
Fengyan, who happened to pass by and noticed Bravo begging, couldn't help but approach him. After all, they were close friends before Fengyan moved away.
Bravo's father and Fengyan's father both worked in the government, although in different capacities.
Seeing that Fengyan is questioning how he ended up in such a state, Bravo bows his head sadly as he recalls the events. He used to come from a well-off family, and his father was even a government official.
"This is a long story, Fengyan. I actually..."
As Bravo begins to explain what happened to him, a phenomenon occurs.
The sky, which was previously clear and showed no signs of impending rain, suddenly turns very dark, as if a storm is about to break out.
This event lasts for almost a minute, and then the sky seems to split, followed by strong winds hitting the land below.
This occurrence terrifies people, who then flee in disarray. The already congested and stuffy city traffic turns into a sea of honking horns, and numerous collisions occur, further escalating the chaos.
