Jien is taking the plane to Washington, USA tomorrow afternoon. This person who has spent every day and night with Ji Ai'er for eight years is about to leave her life for a long time.
Ji Ai'er knocked on Jien's door, but still no one answered. After waiting for two minutes outside the door, she pushed the door and walked in. Seeing Jien sitting on the sofa, but not watching TV as usual. He looked very haggard. Ji Ai'er suddenly felt a pang of heartache. But apart from the heartache, she could do nothing.
Ji Ai'er walked to the suitcase and put the things in.
"I've sorted out everything for your trip to the United States and put them in these two suitcases." Ji Ai'er checked the suitcases she packed again to see if anything was left behind. "If you feel that there's something missing when you get there, call me and I'll courier it to you."
Jien came over and hugged Ji Ai'er. She didn't resist and felt something drip from her shoulder socket. Was that Jien's tear? If so, this was the only time she had seen his tears since she knew Jien.
This person she loved was about to leave her life. Maybe they would never have the chance to meet again in the future. But she had never told him that she loved him. Because they were originally from two different worlds. They met because of fate. After this period of intersection, they would eventually return to their own parallel lines.
Ji Ai'er turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck, stood on tiptoe, and pressed her face against his. At this moment, she felt as satisfied as if she owned the whole world. She also hoped that time wouldn't pass so quickly. Could it pause for her and Jien? But the time machine seemed not to hear her call and time was still passing minute by minute.
Ji Ai'er pressed her lips against Jien's and began to kiss him the way he kissed her. This kiss made her a little desperate because they were about to part, so they could be so indulgent.
Jien hugged Ji Ai'er tightly, as if he wanted to incorporate her into his body and take her to the United States together.
He loves me. At least he loves her now. Ji Ai'er could feel it.
When Jien picked up Ji Ai'er and walked towards his big bed, she didn't resist. It seemed that this was a predestined destination and they were just following it.
"Is it okay?" Jien panted and asked her in the darkness.
Ji Ai'er said nothing but pulled down his head and pressed her lips on his. She gave everything she had to this man who had just become an adult not long ago. She didn't know where her future was, but she knew what Jien's tomorrow would be like. This was the last wonderful time they could be together. She was just waiting for the verdict after Jien left.
Ji Ai'er lay on Jien. He had fallen asleep and his breathing was even. But when she saw the dawn, she felt even more uncomfortable. It meant that she and Jien were about to part and they would live in the northern and southern hemispheres respectively.
Parting Poem
I don't want you to go. Time stops for me. Thoughts are like the tender willow branches, rippling in my heart.
I don't want you to go. Love and hate are also lingering. Love is like a dreamlike reverie.
Parting. The past remains the same. Parting. Old friends wave goodbye.
Parting. The setting sun is shining. Parting. Even the fallen flowers are sad and sorrowful.
