Is Toji based for hating children?

The Order's Living Quarters: Toji P.O.V.
While I wait for Velcro to get back to me, I should settle in.
Akao ran past me. "BWA HAHA! This is awesome! We're going to get our own place at some point!? I need to bring Akira here!"
The design was a modernized apartment with multiple floors and a wide-open living room connected to a kitchen.
Apparently, it would be covered by the JAA as long as we were in the Order.
Akao was busy acting like a child on Christmas, and Nagumo was inspecting the place.
Sakamoto looked uninterested as he stuck his hands in his pockets, instantly walking upstairs.
*boof*
...
I fell face-first on the couch.
...
My head hurts.
So much random shit happened today.
I wake up six years after nearly dying to a high teenager, become an assassin, join an organization, and am now living with another set of teenagers.
Everything is so weird.
Nothing is the same except the language and basic Japanese culture.
I haven't seen anything Jujutsu-related. Nobody has brought up Jujutsu sorcerers or Jujutsu as a concept.
Even these people I've met, who can rival grade-one sorcerers, don't know anything about it.
It's like the entire world changed.
I can't do much other than wait for Velcro's connections to pull information on the current situation.
There is also the matter with Hollow Eyes. I've got him in the inventory curse, which should preserve his body, but this problem needs to be solved.
It's going to become a pain in the ass if I leave it alone.
Killing the executive wouldn't be too much of a problem since I could get information on his whereabouts reasonably quickly, but becoming an enemy of an assassin organization would be annoying.
Plus, I would lose my income source.
Turning on my side, I look at the ceiling. "Just what the fuck happened while I was gone?"
...
Akao walked over and sat in a reclining chair across from me. "Hey, Toji."
*Sigh*
I lean my head back. "What?"
Akao recoiled a bit but shook her head before thinking for a moment.
She turned her head away. "I wanted to apologize for what I said in the hospital."
I raised an eyebrow. "About what?"
She sighed. "Well, I was being a jerk about your personal life."
My personal life, huh?
What personal life.
I shake my head. "It's fine."
She sighed, most likely in relief. "I have some bad habits."
I move my hands behind my head. "Same."
She leaned back in her chair. "Hearing about you just hit home since I've got a niece. One that I'd do anything for."
Someone that we deeply care for, something that we don't share.
I lost that a long time ago.
...
Ever since I lost her.
...
Then, there is my kid, but he is in the Zenin's hands now.
If Satoru Gojo follows through with the Zenin's agreement, my kid will live a much better life with them.
I raise an eyebrow. "Why are you oversharing with me?"
She sat up. "Hey, I like talking! Well, while you aren't social, you listen."
I stare back up at the ceiling. "If you think I listen, you clearly don't know much about me."
Akao returned a sly smirk. "You're listening right now."
Hmm, I guess I am.
It looks like I've changed ever since the fight against Satoru Gojo.
Although I'm not sure if it's for the better or worse.
She smiled. "Well, now that I got that out of the way, I'm going to shower and go to bed. Night, Toji."
I nodded, lost in my thoughts.
This whole thing hasn't been so bad.
I close my eyes as I fall asleep.
...
A Few Days Later Toji P.O.V.
Not much has happened since the Order was only needed for a large mission like escorting the VIPs.
It has been relatively quiet since then, and I'm not in need of immediate money, so I haven't taken any jobs.
The three others are currently out of the house, doing various assassinations.
I want to know more about what is happening before running around Japan and killing people.
We are meeting with Velcro after he gets discharged from the hospital to discuss the executive situation.
*Knock*
*Knock*
*Knock*
I move toward the door.
*thunk*
However, before opening it, I see part of a knife come through a door.
Either they are really stupid, or this is some weird delivery form.
I open the door to see a knife lodged inside, a folder attached to the back of the handle.
My eyebrow unconsciously raised. "How on-the-nose do you have to be for an assassin organization? Now there is an opening in my door..."
Good, it looks like Velcro finally got something back.
Hopefully, I'll finally find out what is going on with Japan.
*slice*
After shutting the door and moving back toward the couch, I use the dagger on the door to cut open the sealed folder so I don't have to cough up the inventory curse.
Pulling out the sheets, I see...
...
Useless information.
...
Legends and mythology of curses, wards, and ancient magic.
There is the tale of Ryomen Sukuna, but it has nothing to do with the King of Curses.
Nothing on Satoru Gojo.
No Zenin clan.
There is someone named Naohiro Zenin, but he's a random bald man.
Damn, there is nothing here!
There is no way someone at Kindaka's level wouldn't find any useful information about these topics.
Are they hiding them?
No, they shouldn't since the government knows of Jujutsu's existence but keeps it hidden from the general public.
Given Velcro's desire for my service as an assassin, there is a very low chance that he will try to lie to me about this stuff.
So, why is there nothing here?
Unless...
...
Did I die during my fight against Satoru Gojo?
...
Is this place some afterlife?
Putting me in an afterlife or world of assassins has to be a stupid joke.
Things aren't adding up, and I can't even begin to piece together what happened.
In any case, from now on, I need to assume everything is different.
Given the absence of Jujutsu, it makes sense that I lost my ability to see curses and why I'm unable to sense cursed energy.
If Kindaka's connections couldn't figure anything out about the life I once knew, I would have difficulty figuring things out myself.
Whatever, I might as well stop lazing around.
I stand up and stretch my arms.
...
...
...
A malicious smile appears on my face. "Time to get to work."
