BECAUSE OF THAT, that's also when Wren processed the contents in his head and finally understood them.
"Who are you?" Wren asked the holy priest warily.
"This lowly one is the holy priest called Hunin of Emantla—"
"Not that! I was talking about your summon!" Wren rudely interrupted the holy priest in his introduction. "And stop that act! You're not even bald enough to act like a monk! Can you be serious now?"
The holy priest, who was called by his name Hunin, maintained his silence with a professional smile for a few seconds before he reverted to his original self. The innocent but annoying smile from Wren's first impression turned into a sly smile.
Even his standing posture a few seconds ago changed. His hands, which were lying softly on top of each other in front of him, were now untangled as one was put on his waist while the other was massaging his nape.
"Jeez, that was tiresome! Ack, my nape feels numb," he started complaining while walking closely toward Wren. "By the way, my name is really Hunin, which means protector. I derived it from the name of my summon, Navaros. The god of fate and prophecy is the Nether of the Syndeomai myth. I am a B-class holy priest, and my system is a second-class, divine class. It is very nice to finally meet you, Wren Adams."
That's it. This guy really knows him. Not only did he purposely come to their country and specifically to this temple at this exact time, like a coincidence but it was all because he knew him.
"You know me? From whom? Your summon? Is that a prophecy learned from your summon?" Wren asked.
"Come on, let's all relax. I don't mean harm so keep calm. How about we take a seat first before I answer that?"
Holy priest Hunin did what he told. He sat on the other side of the table so Wren, despite some hesitation and getting wary, still took the seat in front of Hunin. After sitting, Hunin hovered his palm on top of the table and a set of tea and cups magically appeared on the table.
However magical it was, Wren didn't show any surprise as he silently watched the jade bracelet on Hunin's wrist. Before those tea sets appeared, Wren watched as the jade bracelet illuminated, and when the light disappeared, the tea set appeared.
"Cool, right? This one was only donated by one of my customers, who wanted to know if his only son would heal if they let him get an operation or if it's the other way around. I didn't know he was a wealthy businessman who owned a company that was trying to create another version of those spatial bags that could be found in the dungeon. This spatial bracelet was one of the testers."
Hunin did not stop speaking but he was also concentrated on his tea-making.
"Although this one is nothing compared to those spatial bags. After all, even the smallest spatial bag found in the dungeon cannot compare to the largest one created by the company of that man. So mine was only four square meters. Small, but better than none, right?"
Wren didn't answer and instead, he took the cup prepared for him. He secretly took a smell and aside from that sweet scent of lavender and dried rose, there was a scent of mint leaves.
Wren calmly took a sip and it was really a good tea. He wasn't a tea lover but he became used to drinking and even tasting tea with his type of work. Nope, it's not a job but a hobby.
"So, where are we again?" Hunin asked after taking a sip as well.
"My questions," Wren immediately answered.
"Ah, yes. Unfortunately, I can't answer them now, Mr. Wren Adams. We might be priests who can learn about the fate and destiny of a person but we still have some rules we must follow. And that also applies to our summons. Curse the law of order for that but it is how it is and we can only follow."
"As for what I can only say to you, it is the whole prophecy itself that my summons has bestowed on me."
Wren stared at Hunin like the other had some loose screws. He always claims that he is a holy priest. But his actions and manner don't show that he is one.
He can't even blame it on his summons since Wren also knew a little bit about that Syndeomai Nether god, Navaros. He might know only a little about Navaros but Wren was hundred percent sure that it was all the truth. And that truth was that Navaros was a Nether god who was playful but in a serious way.
Very unlikely with Hunin, who was playful and sly through and through!
"So what does it say?" Wren decided to ignore that and focus more on the important matters.
"Wait, let me show you."
Before he could ask him, Hunin took his hands again on top of the table. Then he used his left hand to touch the gem on the ring on his right pointed finger. Then the familiar blue holographic screen appeared between them, which surprised Wren.
Fortunately, Hunin was so busy operating his status screen that he didn't give a funny reaction. He continued clicking and pointing his fingers at the holographic interface, while Wren was also unable to read some information on the other's stats because he was busy hiding his embarrassment.
"Here. You can read it."
Wren could only nod and intently stare at the screen that wasn't his but was visible to his eyes.

[Great Prophecy]
In the dawning of a new age, shadows will loom and bring despair to the hearts of humankind. The chosen one by the venerable beings swaps from realms far beyond the ken of man. This destined soul shall become a beacon of light that brings hope to mortals but threatens those dark hearts. Aid the chosen one to become a powerful sword and an invincible shield that protects all beings. Go, hail their name even to the vast universe, flourishing all beings to the deliverance of the greatest blessings.

The more Wren reads the prophecy, the more he feels like he doesn't understand anything. He also has experience studying prophecies like this but maybe because this one has something to do with him, he couldn't grasp anything from it.
"Oh, fuck! I'm sorry! There was actually a simplified version that I did after using the skill from my summon. I forgot to show you that instead, hehe."
This time, Wren didn't hide his facepalm since he was really giving up on this guy. If not for the prophecy, he wouldn't be doing a simple facepalm, but he would have directly walked out.
"Here. This is for sure now."
Wren just stared back at the screen again and ignored the owner of the system interface.
——
[Great Prophecy] (Simplified Version)
A person chosen by all the venerable beings from very far away has come into the world. He will become the source of humans' hope for the upcoming doom of the world. Help him build his stronghold and not only will you receive the greatest blessing but through nurturing this newcomer, the world and the universe will also receive the greatest blessing.

"That's it?" Wren asked when he saw the end quote.
"Yep. You didn't comprehend it, even if it was the third version after simplifying it?"
"Do you think of me as a fool? Of course, I did! And I am also thinking that explaining further will make me a fool so just tell me now if you have something important to say so that I can start my offering."
Hunin, who finally noticed how bad his first impression of Wren was, decided to shut his mouth for a while. He was about to shake his head but he remembered that there was still something he must tell him.
"There are two things, or maybe three. So the first one is about the offering. As Navaros had said to me, you really don't need to offer anything to them. They already treat you as an offering. Although I don't get it, yeah, that's what he said."
"The second thing is about the great prophecy. The only people who knew it were you and me since I had to see you for myself to help the temple and the association decide on what to do. For now, I will just assist you with the hunter association. You're finally registering, right?" Hunin asked.
"Yeah."
"Then that settles the third and last thing. And that is me, assisting you with your registration. In a simplified version, I must come with you. Let's go!"
"What? There's no need to!" Wren yelled and tried to struggle away from the tight grip of this Hunin guy.
How shameful. This guy was obviously thinner than him and he was also taller than him but he couldn't even bug his arms away. Despite his struggles, he was still dragged outside the offering hall.
Wren was about to speak another struggle when the familiar sound of the system notification was heard by him. Then an interface appeared before him.
