Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Niko Draven

In the lightly dimmed blue tunnel, through the thick fog, you can see the figures slowly come into the light. First outcomes a camera crew followed by the mysterious man, Niko Draven. Even his outfit is mysterious as he is wearing a cloth robe over his whole body, well it doesn't quite cover his whole body as the robe stops at his calfs and you can faintly see just how muscular they are. It also doesn't cover his whole face. There is only one thing that people really ever see under that mask is his creepy smile that is shaped like a crescent moon. Some think he's evil and a psychopathic killer while optimist just likes to think Niko loves to fight.

"Jerry, In the quarter-finals match and the semifinals match, Niko showed us a side that we have never seen in any of his past fights, mainly because they had been so one-sided. Niko did not show a set style of martial arts in any of his past matches, rather he seemed to use many types of martial arts. We had many martial art analyst confirm this with us as well as we did not realize it when we were seeing it live. But weirdly enough every time before he was about to win, he would give himself some weird handicap like let the other guy hit him a couple times or imitate the other injured fighter by acting like he had the same injuries. He is truly a crazy but brilliant fighter."

"Thank you Dan, just to add onto that some of the past martial arts he used against his opponents were kung fu, boxing, taekwondo, judo and a couple ancient martial arts like Vajra Mushti, copying his other opponent in the quarterfinals match, and also showed off a little Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do."

The commentators continued on with their ramblings on Niko Draven as he approached the stage with the crowd cheers erupting throughout the whole stadium. Fans were holding signs of the fighters' faces. Alexander Doukas face on the sign brought out all of his distinguished physical traits of his face including his mismatched eye color and his scar that ran across his nose. His serious and maddening expression ever so apparent. On Niko Draven's fans signs, All it showed was a mysterious hooded man with a crescent smile as the most distinguishable trait of the sign's face. The fans holding his sign cheers erupted even more loudly as he approached the ring. Well, they may have not even be his fans, they were most likely were only cheering for him because they bet money on him to win the match.

The mysterious hooded man crept towards the ring until he reached the edge of the staircase where then the camera crew went to get a different angle of the famed fighter. Just like in all of his past fights, all you could see through the camera lens and up on the big Jumbotron, was Niko Draven's creepy smile hiding under his mask. He was more than thrilled to start the fight.

The camera's panned over to Alexander Doukas' face and his face was showing anger building up within him. One could easily imagine smoke coming out of Alexander's ears and nose. The exciting tension for the final fight was about to begin and every fan was on their feet roaring at the two fighters. Even one crazy fan yelled out, repeating a famous meme, "Give him the old dick twist, ALEX!" The fans next to him looked at him in shock, laughter, anger and one parent even proceeded to cover their child's ears.

This tournament was commonly watched by all ages and many children in school started to inspire to grow up to be a great fighter, just like these two fighters on stage. These two men were at the peak of the human physique, and their skills in martial arts looked dreamy to the fans watching. Every human always has a deep, hidden desire for more power. When the tournament started and civilians were able to see the true limitations of the human body, public attention towards the tournament skyrocketed.

All that was needed now was for Niko Draven to step up on the stage. There was already a referee and announcer standing in the middle of the ring. The announcer was holding a big microphone as his attention turned towards the audience as he prepared to start the fight.

"After over two years of many thrilling fights, the time that we have all been waiting for is quickly approaching, Today refereeing the match we have Brock Manning who has refereed many of the other tournament fights and has been known as the sole reason, no one in this tournament has died. Please give a huge round of applause for Brock as we look forward to starting the fight!"

The crowd all gave Brock a huge round of applause as they have all seen the duties he had preformed in past matches. He was a tall, muscular American man. He seemed to have scars of his own that all had their own stories to them. Brock had blue eyes that looked kind at first, but the fans knew to not be mistaken by his somewhat sweet looking face. In one of the past fights, Brock had completely incapacitated the winner of one of the fights, completely kicking that person out of the tournament. He was a well-famed kickboxer, who had threatening legs. People wondered why he didn't join the tournament himself with moves like that, but everyone figured he had reasons of his own.

Niko continued to walk his way up the small stone staircase as Brock looked at both of the fighters and gave a small smirk of appreciation towards them. But weirdly enough, instead of stopping on the far side of the ring where the fighter's were suppose to start, he started walking towards the announcer. The announcer still hadn't noticed this yet as his attention was solely focused on looking at the audience. Brock, however, did notice Niko slowly walking towards the announcer but still refused to move a single inch almost as if he had been expecting something like this.

"From China, to USA, the World's Mixed Martial Arts Tournament is about to get underway! I hope everyone in the crowd brought am extra clean pair of underwear today, because the most exciting match of the year is -"

Suddenly the big microphone that branded the World's Mixed Martial Arts Tournament is tugged from the announcer hand and into Niko Draven's hands.
