I could see that the crowd wanted more. I expected this to take the whole day.
I walked over to Loyd and took the Megaphone. I hate being stared at now that I'm not engaged in a task.
Well I better start getting used to it.
Confidence, Fake it till you make it.
"Uhm"
*BWAAAANG
I hate that sound. Screw this.
I hand the megaphone back to Loyd and say to him.
"Announce that my wives will be my vice generals, If someone wants to challenge this position, they should step forward. I wanted to do this tomorrow anyway."
"I understand general"
I started walking toward where Roka and Felmina was sitting.
I was gesturing them to come over. They got up.
"SOLDIERS OF THE SHADOWFALL KINGDOM, ARE YOU READY FOR A SHOW"
The crowd cheers. Roka and Felmina come closer as do I.
"General Kaijuu-sama announced his vice generals, Kaijuu Roka-sama and Kaijuu Felmina-sama. If any of the Commanders wish to challenge them please step forward."
2 commanders get up and enter the ring, Shanon Wilson former general and another one I don't know.
I walk past them and meet Roka and Felmina at the edge of the ring.
"Go get changed you two."
""Yes""
"It appears we have 3 challengers"
3, wait.
I turn around and see a the 2 commanders then another guy standing in front of Loyd.
He's got about the same build as I do, same height. Brown hair, wearing fancy black armor with the gold patterns similar to what Shannon's wearing.
Loyd speaks to them each in turn. I start walking over.
"2 challenges for Kaijuu Roka-sama and one for Kaijuu Felmina-sama"
Loyd says something to them then hands the other commander the megaphone.
"Commander of the footsoldiers first division Mark Gutenberg."
He turns to me and bows.
"Pleased to make your aquintence general Kaijuu. I wish to challenge Kaijuu Roka-sama, my reason is to gain honor and prestige alongside you, our new general. Please consider me.
He then hands the megaphone to Shanon.
"I also wish to challenge Kaijuu Roka-sama for the position. As I will probably be made general of the army again after the war, I wish to gain experience directly from general Kaijuu."
She bows to me.
"I'll be in your care."
Mark looks a bit annoyed as he clenches his fist.
She then hands the megaphone to the last guy with the brown hair.
"Heir to the throne, prince Wilfred Shadow-Wolf."
He also bows to me
"Pleased to make your aquintence general Kaijuu. I wish to challenge Kaijuu Felmina-sama, My reason is to gain experience in battle command. As your future king I believe this experience will prove to be invaluable."
Loyd takes the megaphone back.
"General Kaijuu will now--"
I lift my hand to stop him, then gesture him over. I put my had up and whisper to him.
Loyd takes his position again and holds up the megaphone to his mouth.
