Chereads / I Am The Annihilation Maker In Marvel / Chapter 6 - Temporal Reset.

Chapter 6 - Temporal Reset.

Once Samuel had escaped, the Avengers began to pick themselves up as that battle had been brutal. Hulk and Thor were worse off as Hulk had been injected with very potent venom strong enough to kill a Kryptonian.

His potent regeneration factor was fighting off the venom, but he looked much paler and his stab wounds were closing slowly. Thor was in a similar state as the stab he took to the pelvis had severed his right legs internally.

He was standing on pure Asgardian resilience and Steve wasn't much better. He had been taken out of the fight by a brutal blow to the head. Not only did he have a concussion, but he also had a bad skull fracture that would have killed him if he was anything less than a Super Soldier.

Natasha and Clint had landed the Quinjet with the Avengers who were in the middle of after-battle care. Natasha was currently helping Steve who was starting to wake up.

Natasha had removed his mask and was checking him out as he wasn't looking good. As soon as he woke up, he flipped over and puked. She patted his back as he continued to throw up.

"Easy Steve, you got a concussion and your skull is fractured in a few places. Can you stand?"

Steven took in a deep breath and wiped his mouth.

"I don't think so."

"Come on, let's get you into the jet."

She grabbed his arm and helped him up to lead him to the Quinjet. He was unsteady and while she did that, Clint turned to Hulk and Thor who were on the ground.

"Are you two going to be ok? You both got kicked in the nuts."

Hulk snarled as the stabs to his shoulders and thigh were starting to close. His body was winning against the venom flowing through his body.

"Hulk is fine."

As for Thor, he stood up with some trouble as the stab to his pelvis was healing slowly. The God Killer Curse in the blade formed from Fatalis and Fenrir had caused his wound to heal much slower than it should.

Even worse was that the wound was cauterized and flash-frozen at the same time increasing the healing time.

"It will take more than a-"

Just as he put weight on his leg he almost fell over so Clint caught him.

"Relax. Let's go, into the jet."

Thor didn't complain, but as they were walking to the jet, Clint turned to Hulk.

"You need any help?"

"Hulk fine."

From the sound of it, Hulk wasn't happy so Clint didn't push him at the moment. Instead, he got Thor into the Quinjet and once they were inside, they began to treat them with the medical supplies with aid from JARVIS.

While they received some first aid, Tony looked up from his suit. He was doing repairs on it as it was scorched in some places and the internal wiring had been melted a bit.

"I have so many questions. Who the hell was that? How the hell did he send Doomsday against us? A comic book character."

Strange pondered on the nature of the monsters they had fought.

"Could be reality warping of some kind, or he is merely creating life-like replicas. I have no answer and we are going to have to find him. If left on his own devices who knows what he can make? Doomsday, Dragons, Symbiotes, Monsters of all kinds.

I thought he had tamed them, but that is not right. He makes them."

Tony nodded.

"I agree. Catching him for the sake of the future is important, as he doesn't seem like the type to just stay quite. Where the hell did he even go?"

Strange wasn't sure.

"I am not sure, we can catch him later. First, it is up to me to correct the time stream and the damage he has caused."

Tony nodded.

"You do that."

Strange began to fly into the air as he began to cast a ritual to undo the destruction that Samuel had caused.

---

As for Samuel himself, he was currently in Alaska at his cabin. He wasn't going to stick around much longer as he planned to leave Alaska to hide inside the US itself. He was effectively immortal and age wouldn't affect him ever. He could just live to the present day to give himself more time to progress in his craft.

'Guess that is the plan, why time travel when I can just out age everyone.'

Just as he thought that his magical senses began to feel changes in the world. He saw everything other than himself and his monsters begin moving backward. He saw his monsters look up into the sky as the clouds and wind were moving backward in time.

"Guess they decided to undo our work. In a way, they can be considered evil since they are letting WW2 and the Holocaust happen. I tried at least."

He smiled to himself as he at least tried to do good. However, now that he knew that he was in Marvel his plans had changed. His plans now included the Infinity Stones despite them being worthless outside of their home universes he could use them to enhance his abillities and his creations.

Before he did that, he sat down on his old meditation stump as he had to think.

"Ok, let me think this through something I haven't been doing much. Let us go with the idea that this is the comics universe and not Cinematic. I never read any comics of Marvel and only saw the movies so, is the Tesseract still a thing? Fuck I should have read more comics."

He shook in as if nothing he did was going to change anything. Out of all of the Infinity Stones, the Power, Mind, and Soul Stones were the best suited for him with the Time, Space, and Reality still being overpowered.

After he made up his mind to at the minimum try to find the Tesseract to at least give himself a chance to own one of the Infinity Stones. If not, he would at least satisfy his curiosity.

He stood up from his stump before looking at his group of Monsters that had gathered around him. From Slifer, Fenrir, Fatalis, and the others they were waiting.

"I think our first fight went well. Sure I was caught off guard and I wasn't sure how strong I was, turns out, way stronger than I thought. Now that I know where we are, it makes things easier."

The Solitaire raised her hand into the air so he turned to her.

"Yes?"

Once again she began to communicate through interpretive dance and sign language.

"Where are we?"

"Marvel. If you're wondering what that is, it is the name of this reality."

Each of his monsters began to nod from Slifer to Doomsday.

"Well, with that out of the way, I know where we are going."

He turned around and he held his hands forward before tearing open a gate to Texas. The same ranch where he had acquired this body and where he arrived in Marvel. The gate was massive more than large enough for even Slifer to fit through it.

"Fatalis, burn down the cabin. Don't want anyone finding it."

Fatalis did as ordered and he blasted the cabin Samuel called home for the last 9 years. With that destroyed, he and his creations crossed the giant gate. Once they were all through he crossed his arms as he returned to where he started.

He glanced at the run-down house which was all that remained of the house.

"The Depression. Guess they packed up and left. Wonder what they thought when their son vanished? With it being the 30s, did the woman get lobotomized or beaten for losing the kid?"

That was a dark thought, but he didn't care. Just as he was thinking he felt a tap on his shoulder. He glanced behind him and saw the Solitaire standing above him.

"What?"

This time she just used sign language as she was asking what was his plan.

"What is the plan? We are going to blend in for the next 61 years. With the Avengers setting history back on course, everything we did was undone. It wasn't for nothing though as I proved that we are strong. Right Doomsday?"

Doomsday glanced over at him before snarling.

"You could have beat Hulk? I believe you. Now, chill for a moment."

Doomsday seemed to grin as given enough time he would have torn Hulk's head off. Samuel believed that any creature that could kill Superman could kill Hulk. For now, he walked over to the crumbling house as that wouldn't be any good.

"Well then, time to get building."

He clasped his hands together as he began to gather his mana. He then slammed his hands down into his shadow and from it, a whole team of seven Chaos Dwarves appeared, seven of them.

"Welcome to the world my Dwarven friends."

The seven dwarves kneeled and waited for instructions.

"Do you see this house? If don't like it, I want you to use your skills to spruce it up. Make it worthy of a World Sage like me."

The leading Dwarf nodded as he ran a hand down his beard.

"Count on us. Alright lads, time to work."

The Dwarves walked toward the house to get to work. Samuel didn't even question the fact they could talk as it just seemed to make sense. What he didn't know was his own race as a World Sage had caused his Sacred Gear to evolve.

While the creatures he made lacked souls in the traditional sense, they had intelligence, consciousness, thoughts, and emotions, just no souls. They had the benefits of being a living creature with none of the weakness that came with souls.

So, while the Chaos Dwarves went to work on destroying what was left of the house through their enhanced abillities and their magics, he turned to the rest of his beasts.

"Everyone, offer a hand to the Dwarves. That will be my home."

As soon as he said that, all his Dragons and Monsters moved toward the house or they went to find trees to cut down. Others began to dig while following the orders of the Dwarves who were going to make it a home worthy of The Father of Monsters.

While his Dwarves and Monsters got to work on the house he decided to do something else.

"Fenrir, stick with me."

Fenrir who was digging to function as the underground portion of the house jumped out of the hole before running over to Samuel. Once he was accompanied by his wolf, Samuel jumped up onto his back.

"Forward, I got to get this place magically warded before the Avengers start looking for me."

With a snarl, Fenrir ran forward as he was going to make this land his secret little place. He was going to use Space Expansion Spells and reality-isolating wards to keep his home hidden from prying eyes.

It was going to be a complicated process, but if he had anything it was time on his hands. So, while the Avengers licked their wounds, Samuel was going to make it impossible to find him.

He was going to play the long game as eventually, they would have to go back to the Future. He didn't which would cause the Avengers to always think, what has he made now, what will he make, where will he show up.

He had his fun and now it was time to start thinking like an Assassin again. Gather intelligence, stay in the shadows, and attack when your foes least expect it. With a smile, he began to lay down magical wards and runes he had created in his nine years of exile.

He had experimented deeply in the magical arts, but magic was a subject one could always learn more from. Once he finished his wards, he would be as hard to find as a purple Ork.
