Once Samuel had his plan and a way to begin spreading his influence through the United States, he decided to begin immediately. Now that the Avengers had left the 30s, he was basically free to do as he pleased.
Of course, he was almost sure that they might try to come back, but at that point, he didn't care. Before leaving for Washington D.C. to negotiate with FDR to gain agreements with America, he decided to take a few of his creations.
Since they were still around he glanced at the many monsters and creatures he had created. There were so many and while he could take all of them he decided against that option.
"Before we meet with the President, someone of you will be coming with me. I hold all the cards in this after all."
That got them all looking at each other as many wanted to earn his favor. As their creator he was their God and with that came power. The Dragons and beasts began to snarl and hiss at each other as they wanted to go with him.
Doomsday roared as he felt if anyone should be trusted with Samuel's safety it was him. Fatalis, Alatreon, Nergigante, Balerion, and Cannibal all began to posture and spread their wings in threatening displays.
Slifer roared as he rose to his full impressive size in the sky, but before things got worse he raised his hand.
"Hold on, no need to start getting all pissed."
That calmed them down, but now he picked those he would take.
"Doomsday, Fenrir, Rover, Baskerville, Alicora, Slifer, Alatreon, Fatalis, Balerion you all are coming. While we're gone, listen to Asurman."
The Eldar Phoenix Lord bowed as he accepted the responsibility. Those that got picked moved closer to him expecting him to drag them into his shadow. Instead, Samuel turned around and raised his hands.
Light Purple mana began to radiate from his hands, the color of Spatial Magic. With a flick of his hand, a shimmering purple tear in space opened up. At first, it was just a few feet across, but after he spread his arms out it grew to over 300 feet wide.
Large enough for even his gigantic dragons to be able to step through. Once the portal was open, he smiled to himself. His study into spatial magic had been useful not just for portals. He could use it in battle as well and he was quite excited for that.
"Starting going through."
As he stepped through, his monsters followed after him with Doomsday, Alicora, Fenrir, Rover, and Baskerville at his sides. Behind them, the four gigantic Dragons followed behind.
After stepping through the portal, Samuel walked onto the lawn of the White House with a smile on his face. Doomsday, Fenrir, Rover, Baskerville, and Alicora moved out of the way to allow the giants to step out after them.
He wasn't here to be quiet so when the giant Slifer flew through the portal the Dragon let out an earth-shaking roar. Then he took off into the sky where his titanic size was clear to see.
Belerion, Fatalis, and Alatreon followed after Slifer which would be impossible to miss. As for Samuel, he walked toward the White House with his five creations.
"Doomsday, Fenrir, you two guard the door. Let no one in our out. Alicora, Baskerville, and Rover will come with me."
At his words, Doomsday and Fenrir got on either side of the door to guard it. When Samuel reached the door, he unlocked it with a wave of his magic. When he opened the door and stepped inside, it was obvious the staff were in a panic. At that moment, four gigantic monsters were flying over the White House.
Now, Samuel was inside and he felt worse than them. He merely smiled and with a flick of his hand, all the panic they felt melted away.
"I'm not here to hurt you, so relax."
In moments, panic turned into relaxation and disinterest. Samuel ignored them and he walked toward the Oval Office. Alicora, Rover, and Baskerville at his sides stayed silent.
As he made his way to the Oval Office, the Secret Service, moved to intercept him. However, an irresistible force seemed to draw them in to look into his eyes. When they did, their minds were subjugated and they lost all the ability to resist.
No normal human could stand against him so he got to the Oval Office with ease. When he opened the door inside, he saw the President at his desk. FDR or Franklin D. Roosevelt looked as he did in his portraits and pictures.
The man didn't try to flee though as there was no point. Since he was in a wheelchair, running wasn't an option, and even if he could run, running wasn't an option.
When Samuel, Alicor, Rover, and Baskerville walked he didn't know what to say. As such, Samuel was the one to speak.
"May I come in?"
When Franklin looked at Samuel, he had a few words to say. The first was big, as Samuel was 6'11 and covered in dense muscles. His eyes were the brightest blue he had ever seen and so inhuman.
Looking into them for too long made his head hurt so he asked the only thing he could.
"Who are you?"
When the question reached his ears, Samuel was about to introduce himself. However, he froze for a moment as he was still going by Samuel. It was his name, but it felt too mundane now.
He was a World Sage now, not a mortal man, and he had to have a name equal to his status. With a smile on his face, he introduced him.
"I am Odren a World Sage, a master of the magic arts and I have come to negotiate with your nation. While I have the strength and ability to devastate this world, I rather like it. As such, I have come to negotiate. Would you here me out?"
Roosevelt looked outside his window behind him and saw Slifer, Balerion, Fatalis, and Alatreon flying in the sky. When he looked back, Alicora was already in the corner of the room and her mask was haunting.
Rover and Baskerville looked like a mockery of what dogs should be. He had no choice, but to negotiate with this monster it seemed.
"I don't think we have a choice, Odren."
Hearing Odren and not Samuel just felt right. He was Odren, The Father of Monsters, the World Sage.
"No, you do. My power is vast, but I want just a few things. In exchange, I can use my magical might to protect your nation. My creations can devastate nations, think what that could mean for America.
I can give you cures for diseases, and advance your understanding of the universe if you will listen to my requests."
Roosevelt clapped his hands together as he looked at his table.
"What are they?"
Samuel waved his hand and he conjured a chair to sit at. When he sat down, he clasped his hands together.
"Here they are, I want full ownership over Alaska and in exchange, I will protect your nation and more."
Roosevelt felt that was asking too much because Alaska was extremely valuable at this moment.
"Please, be reasonable. The territory of Alaska is a big economic resource for our nation."
Odren merely smiled.
"I know, that is why I want it since I am here to negotiate, not take I will hear you out. What do you want? A cure for Polio, the secrets to immortality, training in the magical arts, or something else."
Roosevelt after hearing the outlandish things Odren was offering even felt himself be tempted. However, he had to think of the nation, since Odren wanted Alaska he would get Alaska at any cost. He could just make it worthwhile for the Nation to do so.
"No, nothing like that."
Odren hummed.
"Are you sure? Curing you of your illness would be easy, a wave of my hand and you would be back to your prime."
Roosevelt shook his head.
"It is fine, but I do have questions. Ten years ago, in Alaska, there was talk of a place where no one should enter. Anyone who entered ended up dead or so traumatized they never spoke of it again.
Was that you?"
Odren smiled.
"It wasn't my intention, you see I made my home in Alaska. The place is isolated and perfect for my studies into the secrets of magic. I had a territory where I created my monsters and I set them loose. They took the chance to feed on anyone who entered.
That is why I want Alaska, it is perfect for my needs."
Roosevelt nodded.
"I see. If I refuse will you take it by force?"
Odren nodded with a small smile. That was all Roosevelt needed to agree to negotiate.
"In that case, let us make a deal. I can sign over the rights to Alaska, but in exchange can America keep harvesting natural resources."
Odren decided to agree to that within limits.
"That seems fair, but it must be on my terms. We can negotiate further in the future, but is there anything else other than that you could want?"
"You say you can cure Polio?"
He could and easily.
"Yes, and not just that. I can cure any mortal disease, but my method is through magic. Such as this."
He waved his hand and suddenly Roosevelt felt something he hadn't felt in many years. His legs suddenly felt hot, burning hot which made him hold onto them. Odren smiled as after the feeling went away, the man held onto his desk as he began to stand up.
After a few moments, for the first time in years, Roosevelt was standing on his own.
"You weren't lying?"
Odren shook his head.
"Consider this a free favor. In the future, once I set up my territory and laboratories I could develop treatments for any diseases. Of course, not for free, but I won't be an extortionist. I am offering a fair deal after all. Do you agree?"
Odren stood up and extended his hand. Roosevelt knew he was making a historic deal, and it was a gamble, but one he felt would he worth it.
"It is a deal."
When FDR shook Odren's hand, the magic binding was signed.
"Pleasure doing business with you. You do not have to announce this to the nation, you can keep this on the down low. You don't even have to relocate the people who live in Alaska, slowly, but surely they will want to leave.
This is going to be a big moment for your nation, Mr. President. So long."
"Before you leave, what do I tell the people about the dragons flying in the sky?"
Odren paused as he looked back.
"Tell them, it is an opportunity."
As Odren, Alicora, Rover, and Baskerville left the Oval Office, FDR sat himself down in his wheelchair. He did wonder what the future held in store now that something like Odren was running around.
He turned around and looked out his window. He looked at those gigantic monsters that could eliminate armies. He felt fear, but he also knew this was a big chance for his nation.
Eventually, the dragons landed and vanished from view as Odren returned to Texas. He had to prepare for his return to Alaska as he had gained the entirety of the future state to do with as he pleased.
He had a lot of work to do as Japan would attack Pearl Harbor in two years. When America went to war he would interfere for more influence. He also would need to meet Howard Stark the father of Iron Man.
He would liven through history while building his influence. His initial plan was to acquire the Infinity Stones and then find a way to claim the Astral Regulator of this universe as Thanos did. With that, he would be as close to all-powerful as he could imagine.
When he returned to Texas with his creations, he smiled to himself.
"Let's begin, shall we."
