"Enzo," he said, placing the bowl aside, his voice smooth yet firm.
"Huh?" Tiara looked up, her confusion evident as her brows knitted together. His piercing eyes held her gaze, unwavering.
"What's that supposed to mean, Mr. Rodriguez?" she asked, forcing some authority into her voice, despite the uncertainty gnawing at her.
"It's Enzo for you," he replied, his voice calm but carrying an edge of impatience.
"Enzo? That's my name. Don't call me Mr. Rodriguez," he repeated, his face showing a flicker of annoyance.
"Sorry?" she said, her confusion deepening. This man's constant back-and-forth was wearing her out, and it seemed like nothing she did pleased him.
"Is it really that hard to understand simple things?" he snapped, frustration creeping into his tone.
"But what exactly am I supposed to understand, sir?" she blinked, hoping to grasp whatever strange logic he was throwing at her this time.
