Chereads / Terry Snacker / Chapter 3 - 3

Chapter 3 - 3

Her hand moved with practiced ease, sliding up the hem of my shorts. She wasn't shy, and that was fine by me. It made things simpler. As her fingers brushed against my thigh, I flexed instinctively, and she giggled, her teasing circles turning into firmer caresses. She was definitely my type: bold, confident, and clearly experienced. Someone who wouldn't mind a night of fun without any strings attached. It was convenient, really. No drama, no complications. Just pure, unadulterated pleasure. But there was something nagging at the back of my mind. I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd seen her before. As she leaned closer, her breath hot against my neck, I took a moment to study her face again. Big, doe eyes, a full mouth painted a bright red, and a body that screamed trouble. Maybe I'd already had her. Maybe not. Didn't really matter. I'd been careful, and I always covered my tracks."Let's get out of here," I said, my voice low and commanding. She nodded eagerly, her eyes lighting up with anticipation. We made our way out of the bar, my arm slung casually around her shoulders. The night air was cool, a welcome contrast to the heat building between us. We walked in silence, the occasional laugh or shout from other bar-goers echoing in the distance. I led her to a nearby alley, a spot I'd used before when I needed privacy. It was dark, secluded, and perfect for what I had in mind.As soon as we were out of sight, she pushed me against the brick wall, her hands everywhere at once. I chuckled at her enthusiasm, my own hands finding their way to her hips. She pressed herself against me, and I could feel her heart racing through the thin fabric of her dress."I like a girl who knows what she wants," I murmured, my lips brushing against her ear. She shivered, her nails digging into my skin."And I like a man who can give it to me," she shot back, her voice breathy and full of promise. We didn't waste any more time. Her dress was easy to pull up, and my shorts were off in a second. The tension between us was electric, a raw, primal connection that had nothing to do with emotions and everything to do with desire. She was good, no doubt about it, and for a moment, I let myself get lost in the sensation. But even as we moved together in the darkness, my thoughts drifted back to Hannah Walker. I could imagine her disapproving glare if she saw me now. The way she looked at me like I was the scum of the earth. And maybe I was. But that didn't change the fact that there was something about her that got under my skin.As the blonde beneath me moaned and clawed at my back, I wondered why I couldn't get Hannah out of my head. She was the exact opposite of the woman I was with now. Complicated, guarded, and infuriatingly stubborn. But maybe that was why I couldn't forget her.Shaking off the thought, I focused back on the task at hand. Tonight was about forgetting, not remembering. And as the blonde's cries echoed off the alley walls, I let myself be consumed by the moment. There would be time for complications later. For now, I was just Terry Snacker, living in the here and now.
