"Does that mean you want to become a full-fledged summoner?" Zeus asked as they both flew through the sky, taking in the magnificent sights of forests and mountains. The foliage stretched for kilometers until they noticed a small civilization from their position. "Oh… So that's why it's so rare to see people here. There are some who live inside?"
"It's much more efficient than going back and forth," Leonard commented, looking at his status board.

[Mission]

"I don't have any other choice but to be a summoner. After all, it was just my worries that kept me from fully accepting it since this world's Summoner Classes have a small range of opportunities. But since my class rank and subclass are high, I can be a summoner without worrying about the lack of opportunities."
"The rewards for the mission are promising. I can't just ignore them. My stats are my problem. If I want to survive and enjoy this world, I need to summon more and have a selection for different situations. You're not enough for me." Leonard shared his thoughts as he reflected on the situation.
"Do you want me to drop you?" Zeus muttered.
"I wouldn't wish for that to happen," Leonard stated. "But let's be real. If this world has fewer opportunities for summoners, does that mean those who got the Summoner Class are just like normal people? Even if they are Players, they wouldn't be near the level of other classes, right?"
Zeus nodded. "If that's the norm in this world and its rules, I assume yes. Being a summoner doesn't give you an advantage over others."
"However," Leonard continued with another idea, "that's assuming there aren't other summoners like me. What makes me different from other summoners is still unclear. What if there are summoners in the same situation as me who noticed they have an advantage and decided to hide it since the norm would probably reject any rise of the weakest class?"
Zeus nodded again, this time with a supporting idea to Leonard's thoughts. They descended a few meters away from the gates of the civilization they found. "They might be afraid of the scorn of others, which could escalate into a risk to their safety. I mean, summoners are dependent on their summons."
"That's right," Leonard agreed. "Which is why I need to replenish my funds, and we must finish the mission so I can have a better chance of protecting myself. What if there's a summon that can provide me strength or can fuse with me? That's just another possibility of being a summoner."
"Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. That's for another time to tackle. Focus on your goals for now. Live in this world to the fullest," Zeus advised, noticing the greed for power in Leonard's eyes that one shouldn't entertain.
Leonard sighed and nodded. "I understand. I'll take things slowly and live in this world to the fullest."
Zeus smiled at Leonard, but deep down, he felt a creeping worry. 'It will be a problem if he realizes things are boring when he has a strong companion. He won't try as hard.'
Leonard and Zeus entered the settlement they found. It was their first time seeing such a well-planned settlement inside the tower, where the houses weren't makeshifts but real homes made of wood and cement.
The roads were well-paved, and the people here looked at least average, or rather, they didn't seem suspicious.
The ambiance was similar to a normal settlement outside the tower, making it hard for Leonard to believe this place was any different from the outside world. It was just like another world inside the tower.
The night was about to set, and Leonard had already found a place to stay. This place was similar to a city, but there were no kids here, only adults who were Hunters. There were different classifications of jobs, and most people had brought their expertise from the outside.
In an inn smaller than the one he previously stayed at in the city, he entered with Zeus and asked for a room for the night. Since he still had extra money and items from their hunts that day, he thought he could just sell them later since he had found a similar shop for materials.
However, when Leonard asked about the price for a room, he was shocked.
"What? 1000 for a night? And no food?"
The receptionist, who was also a Hunter but had to work part-time in the tower, nodded.
"Life inside the tower is expensive. But that will save you the burden of going back and forth. The nearest entrance is kilometers away."
Leonard could only sigh. But given the chance to talk with a Hunter, Leonard asked, "Can you tell me how to earn money fast here? What I've been hunting all day are just chanaks. And it's not enough for me. They're cheap."
The receptionist thought for a while, scrutinizing Leonard's appearance, but his gaze eventually fell on Zeus, and his brows furrowed.
"Are you from the fifth floor? Your appearance looks familiar."
Confused, Zeus glanced at Leonard. "What is he talking about?"
Leonard asked the receptionist, "Are you from the higher floors?"
"Yep. Anyway, the best way to earn money fast is to reach the second floor. The first floor is for weaker Hunters, so if that's your goal, at least take the challenge for the first floor. There's a challenge in the middle of each floor, but it's random, so I can't really give you any tips."
