As Yang Luoya walk through the hallway, he caught a glimpse of Yang Wei peeking through the wall. Yang Luoya getting more and more disturbed by Yang Wei action in the past few days. Couldn't take it anymore, Yang Luoya approached him. Knowing his action were exposed, Yang Wei tried to run away, but was stopped by Yang Luoya, "Wait, i know you're there", Said Yang Luoya sternly.
Yang Wei stopped his step and turn around awkwardly. "Do you have something to say to me?", Yang Luoya said calmly, but what Yang Wei seen from him is a cold glare. "i... i...", Yang Wei got flushtered, his voice were stuttering. Yang Luoya just stand there calmly, waiting for his answer.
"I.... I... i want to apologize.... i'm sorry... because of me you got injured", Said Yang Wei with quiet voice. It was silent for a few moment until Yang Luoya open his mouth, "Is that it? you stalk me for like a week long just to say this?", Yang Luoya were confused, but in Yang Wei eyes Yang Luoya were angry and disappointed.
"I-i-i-i'm sorry.....", Yang Wei lower his eyes and his gaze falls on Yang Luoya previous wound. "How was your injury?", He asked. It was silent for a moment again. "Were you worried about me?", Yang Luoya asked. Yang Wei were shocked from his statement.
"I-I just feeling guilty, that's all", Yang Wei deny. Yang Luoya knows his true personality. Yang Wei always blame himself for everything he done, it doesn't matter if it's big or small. Yang Luoya smiled and patted his hair. Yang Wei stand there dumbfounded.
"Do you want to take a walk? Staying inside here for too long suffocate me. Maybe a walk around the town will help me", Yang Luoya said. Yang Wei nodded while still dumbfounded. "Good, let's meet again tomorrow, don't wear something flashy", Yang Luoya said and left him. Yang Wei stroke his head where Yang Luoya patted before. A small blush formed on his face.
The next day, "My lord, are you sure you want to take a walk around the towan without any guard?", Bai Qian asked as he helped Yang Luoya put on his clothes. "I just want to take a fresh air outside, don't worry i'm strong. I can protect Yang Wei by myself", Yang Luoya replied. "i know you're care about lord Yang Wei that much to the point giving him your greatest achievement. But that doesn't mean you can walk around the town just the two of you without any guard. A group of rebel getting active these day", Bai Qian explained. "are you doubting my strength? if i fight you now, i will still be the one who win against you", Yang Luoya fight back.
Yang Luoya had finished preparing himself. As soon as he open the door, Yang Wei already waiting for him outside the door. "You're already here?", Yang Luoya was shocked. Yang Wei just nodded. "Good, now let's go", Yang Luoya walk away together with Yang Wei, leaving Bai Qian alone.
The town is bustling with people. A lot of people wander around and do their daily life. Some people sold some item at the side of the road. Yang Wei followed Yang Luoya obediently, until his eyes falls on sugar coated candy. Yang Luoya who noticed Yang Wei's gaze asked, "Do you want it?" Yang Wei nodded shyly. Yang Luoya bought sugar coated candy for Yang Wei. Yang Wei finally open up towards Yang Luoya.
They walk around the town for a while. WIthout them realizing it, they entered the slum. The people getting fewer and fewer. Some of them even wearing ragged clothes. "Let's go back-", Before Yang Luoya manage to finish his sentence, a loud cry was heard, "Noooo....". Both Yang Luoya and Yang Wei decided to look for the voice source.
Not far from there, a lot of people swarming a certain house. It's a small house made from straw and bamboo. The crying sound still goes on. "What happened here?", Yang Luoya asked one people in the crowd. "His husband returned from collecting mushroom with strange disease", the man said. Yang Luoya and Yang Wei decided to take a look inside the house. Inside there, a man was laying down on a straw bed with strange black smoke came out from his stomach. His wife crying loudly beside him.
Yang wei tugged Yang Luoya's sleeve, "his flesh rotting...", Yang Wei whisper. Yang Wei couldn't see the smoke from his stomach. From Yang Luoya view, the man was really pale, with black smoke came out from his stomach. Curiosity win over him, Yang Luoya tried to reach that smoke. Before his realization, everything around him become gray, as if time has stopped. Everything went monochrome, everyone stopped moving or talking.
Yang Luoya focus returned, he tried to take back his hand from the smoke. Suddenly a hand came out from inside the some and grabbed his jaw, he take a step back but it was to late. That hand grabs Yang Luoya jaw tightly. Yang Luoya tried to get that hands off him, yet he failed. "..... The marked one.....", a sound was heard.
From inside that smoke came out a tall man with grey skin, black long hair, and red eyes. He had a big horn over his head. His hand still grabbing Yang Luoya's jaw tightly and brought his face closer. "The one i marked years ago finally back...", that man keep grumbling. "Who are you?", Yang Luoya asked in fear and anger at the same time. He still tried to remove that man hands from his face, but he was too strong.
"The one who mark you years ago....", That man said in low growl. Yang Luoya finally realized the person in front of him is the devil. "I have been waiting for you for a long time.... yet you never make your next wishes.....", the man continued. That man pulls Yang Luoya closer, "I can fulfill any of your wishes, any of your desire....", the man whisper as he placed both of his hand on Yang Luoya's face. "Fuck off... i won't make any wishes", Yang Luoya curses under his breath.
The devil just smirked and let go of his face, "Until then..... My Bride...", The devil disappear. Yang Wei shaked yang Luoya hands, Yang Luoya wake up from his daydream. was that just an illusion? The woman cries even louder, because the man died.
"Let's just go back... shall we?", Yang Luoya said towards Yang Wei. Yang Wei nodded, noticed Yang Luoya pale face. As soon as they head out, Yang Wei asked, "um.... did you get bitten by a bug? there's a bite mark under your chin.... it doesn't look like a bug bite.... it looks like a snake bite you", Said Yang Wei. "what? really?", Yang Luoya touched his chin, trying to find the bite mark, but nothing there. "nevermind, i just saw it for a second, maybe my eyes were wrong", said Yang Wei.
